2020 has been an amazing year for rc cars, especially rc crawlers, with so many being introduced every month. So we’re going to focus on the new stuff folks that innovated and give you some options to start us off. Number 10. Is the korean company g made with their gso2 buffalo, with a price of 319 dollars for this vehicle? That looks like a chevy blazer. What stands out here is the price for sure, and they really put in a lot of innovations like a two speed transmission, an overdrive, gearing system to make it climb better, more forward weight and inner fenders. It really looks realistic. It even has that front. Grille cage to give it that military look, maybe even that antenna. Number nine is the favorite. The fan favorite the red catch n8 v2, because it’s only 299 bucks 299 gives you the the portal axles that realistic scout body and they’ve really improved version. Two with a body with clear windows, two new colors and fixing the bugs that were present in version one, no more belly bump, no more breaking gears and no more memory foam. So they’ve really stepped it up to make this a more competitive product with an already competitive price and that’s. Why it has a lot of fans whether you like the green or this eggplant purple color. I think we’ll you’ll get a lot for your money with the red cat gen 8 version. 2.. Number 8 is the element rc gatekeeper for 369 bucks it’s, something pretty new and kind of familiar derived from the element: rc enduro chassis, so it’s not really a cage.
Chassis that’s, just a body that protects it as you tumble, and this is available in many variations – a kit, an rtr one with batteries. So we’re happy to see this offering from them to give you a little more punch in your arsenal. We would it would have placed higher had it been set up a little better. You know maybe a little lower center of gravity a little wider, but you, the user, can do that yourself widen it. A little bit and whatnot number seven kind of took us by surprise it’s, the new rock hobby katana for 169 bucks, it’s, really a toyota land, cruiser 80 series. I believe the one that looks good and what makes this one special is. It is a hard body and it looks so good it’s got a rack on top a uh light. Buckets and it’s already comes with lights: smart lights in the vehicle that you can turn on and off from the transmitter. Also, when you’re turning you’ll see the signal lights, go left and right on you, but right here we have it in stock format and it’s performing really good kind of impressive. And when you need to change that battery, you just open that hood and you have access to the basic stuff so quite impressed for 169 bucks just put your own toyota stickers on it. I think you’ll be set Music and number six. Staying with that tiny crawler theme is the keosho mini z, 4×4.
In the new jeep edition what’s interesting about this vehicle. Is it really looks good for 199 bucks? They achieved a hard body configuration for it, and since this is the third iteration of this model, they had a forerunner, they had a suzuki chimney. You know they there’s. Now quite a few option, parts on it. You know if you want to put some different tires or whatnot. It still has four aaa batteries for power in the front, so it’s a little heavy a little top heavy, but you can modify that as well. If you need hats off to the quality of vehicles from kyosho and you’ll, see that when you receive this one number five is pretty interesting. Is the rc four wheel drive jalande ii in the land, rover d90 body there’s, another body for this a pickup truck, but both of them are just stunning. You can just buy the body separately yourself if you already have this chassis, but what’s interesting about this hard body is how nice it is, how detailed it is so many parts to this body, and so when we took it out on the trail, we thought. Oh no way it’s going to perform, but, as you can see on this footage, it’s a looker and it’s, quite a performer and it’s a performer in that sense that it’s so scale. You know you you treat it like. You treat your own car. If you scratch it it’s going to hurt a little bit but it’s going to leave kind of a story for you and the reason it does, that is it’s the jalanda ii chassis with independence’s coil suspension.
Number four here is really interesting. Is the axial scx 103? In the gladiator edition, the gladiator is the latest one mimicking licensing that new release from jeep, and this one looks even better than the real thing, because it’s got a cage, a bed rack built in already and with a longer bill wheelbase, this scx 103 seems to Perform better than the rest we’re really quite impressed with this one. The only things that held it back are, you know, the price 520 is kind of steep and it has a two speed transmission but it’s not activated no servo included and no radio channel included in this vehicle. But this is pretty nice, it articulates very nicely and, as you can see here, it crawls pretty darn, good, Music and because it’s, an actual, you can upgrade it to your heart’s content, because all those parts are going to be available. All these companies are racing to offer parts for this. One number three is just something out of left field: it’s, the orlando hunter rock bouncer, for around 150 bucks. This one is interesting because it’s just so well built you know, it’s got a lot of options. It’S got a sound unit, a light unit, uh many motor configurations. You can see it here with a 2000 rpm motor, so you pick your poison, whether you want to crawl, really slow or fast like this one, but you can go a lot faster as well. Our recommendation is a thousand rpm motor what’s interesting about this vehicle.
Is it really performs it’s pulling lines box stock that uh a lot of our other small vehicles? Don’T do so quite an intriguing vehicle. The only downside is it’s, so small and it doesn’t come in ready to run format. They would sell so much more if this was ready to run as it is it’s a kit and you have. You need to have eagle eyes to be able to assemble it with these screws number two is kind of shocking it’s: the rock hobby 1941 mb scaler jeep it’s a military vehicle, one sixth scale, but it’s not huge, because the jeep itself is not a very big Vehicle the driver is not included by the way, but the steering wheel turns, as you turn the wheels pretty crazy and they’re doing this at a price of 300 buck around 300 bucks. And if you already have your transmitter receiver, they have a package as well. Around 270. what’s interesting about this is it looks so good it’s, a hard body built to precision things swivel here and there, the windshield and the tires look so scale, they’re, narrow, they’re, military style and they crawl and finally, number one is the axle 20 scx. 24. The latest one the c10 edition, because it performs well 120 bucks – will bring a lot of people into the hobby and not only that it brought a lot of competition to this category. When they came in. There was no little cars but now there’s what 10 maybe 20.
really they’ve opened at the market and what they’re gon na do is they’re gon na open up the hobby to a lower price point indoor outdoor cold weather summer and to us that means a lot To us, because they’re bringing the hobby to a much more reachable, more attainable and a wider audience and at rc review. That is our hope that more kids, young and old really appreciate the hobby and go modifying and having fun and staying healthy.
