I know you guys love it as much as i do. I got some parts in um the thing about these parts. I ordered them when i first got the first got the sex 24 and had the jeep body on it and yeah the the body’s great, like it’s, a gj jl, or is it a jk, pretty sure it’s a jl um, the uh it’s a little top heavy And big and square so i wanted to plant it to the ground, so i ordered some weighted stuff. So i got the knuckles ordered and i got the two diff covers ordered it took like two months for them to come in because yeah, due to medic and other people’s great videos on micros, the uh stock was kind of hard to get. So i went to went with the aps ones because i was told they were going to be the quickest ones to come in. They came in when they came in um the price tag that’s on them. I i think you should kind of ignore, but here is the knuckles there’s, your part number again they’re from aps there’s what i paid for them here at action hobby in calgary, and then i got two dip covers now there’s your part number for the div cover. I usually don’t put links down below for stuff, sometimes other people’s channels, but not usually uh for product, because there’s a million different places to get stuff nowadays so me putting down a link to wherever i got it from like.
I ordered them from action and they don’t ship their products. So there’s no point in me putting a link down to action hobby right, but yeah you can find aps pretty much anywhere. Probably an amazon deal somewhere to be had Music. No, i have no doubt hello. I have no doubt that these things are going to be accurate, but it says 5.5 grams and just for shits and giggles i’m going to measure it double bag. Wait was there screws. I thought. Music looks like a little gummy bear, maybe it’s because i’m high, but yeah that looks like a little bit little baby bear. I love living in canada, probably most famous song about canada next to the anthem, all right 5.62. So the little teddy bear weighs five point. Six, two grams: i want to measure the other one to see if it’s the same 5.62, it flat no it’s flashing, six three, maybe it’s my drill but yeah 5.63. So these things are a little heavier than what they say tenth of a gram but it’s something right. I don’t know if these things say they do the knuckles say 6.8 grams on them, Music and yeah, and they have uh. They come with little brass uh. Oh, i thought those were grubs. They look like some kind of sleeves okay, we’ll measure up one set or one. Oh, that is nice that’s heavy um 6.89. What does it say? It is 6.8 that’s, pretty close starting to wonder about my scale, though now it’s a six point.
Eight four, six point: eight four! Maybe i just misread it: it wasn’t a nine. It was actually a four let’s reset. This is it that one nope that one that one, no, no, i need grams again, nanograms ounces, dwt and ct. I have no idea what those are: zero, 6.85, Music, 6.86, so they’re a little heavier than what they say, which is awesome. These little sleeves, i can’t, see them doing anything one of these little sleeves. Oh, it did wait. You know what sometimes it thinks it weighs something, and sometimes it doesn’t let’s put a second one on because it’s gon na use two on a side. Point zero. Four that’s pretty much nothing um yeah. So now i have decisions to make well one decision. I guess what kind of two i don’t know um. I like how i have it weighted right now, but i really want to use the parts right and it will look cool you’re, putting a chunk up. The other thing i was thinking about is you’re, putting a chunk of brass onto the front of your diff, which is metal, it’s, a soft metal but it’s still going to catch on roxboro. Why is that important? Because i’ve been building my course up more with rocks than anything else lately, and i already had both trucks on the course a couple days ago, and i changed it again, um you’re about to see it so there’s, my guard dog, big baby.
Can you move you’re? A little bit in the way okay i’ll go around here, so pretty much where molly’s tail is it’s a little bit of a start point. You can go up the rails side hill on this big ass rock two little points you can get up onto the rock there over to that rock that big rock you can get up on that spot right. There climb up the rock a bit of a hill climb up there, let’s even get you a little tighter here, so it’s a really nice surface to drive on i’m, really getting hooked on the rock again. These are all the ones, not all the ones. This is a small amount of the ones from my yard there’s another point to get in and out there and then there and then i just got those pieces shoved under there. For now, all the rocks are gone from underneath the storage but uh. I think it’s play time actually. In truth, i haven’t hit the this little area with this truck. I have done it with the kyosho, though Music, because the main thing about getting the lower weight is for hill climbs and side hills. I didn’t line this up very well, but i can try and side hill my way down here. This could be the perfect spot to test out the new stuff that’s already really on its side. Music, so see, it’s, really good on the side. Hill already.
I’M. Sorry. I’M, being so, quiet i’m focused this thing’s a really great truck already. I really want to save the parts, because the parts now i’m thinking about saving them for the b17 betty because it was supposed to ship on december the 6th, which i think is like yesterday or something i think i think today is the uh. I think today’s. The seventh or the eighth, or something like that i haven’t – been keeping track lately but anyways. When the betty comes in. I think it’s going to get these parts, maybe i’ll add the one diff cover Music. Excuse me, i had a truck uh Music, baby, baby, baby Music, hmm, okay, that’s, doable back it up one more time because, depending where you put the cones can make this much more difficult or a little bit easier, but no conestay just messing around. So the main thing about the rocks is you don’t want to touch the floor, except in places where it’s okay to touch the floor? Oh god, all right! So i pull down. I get a roll over and, as usual, you want to stay as high as possible. Oh god might be starting to get weak. It doesn’t seem to want to turn these tires anymore, which could be a good reason to not put more weight on it. Yet dog hair is bothering me all right. Hopefully you guys can see this. You can see the lights in the camera, but it always looks different when you get the camera versus the edited version later.
Hopefully, you guys can see how awesome this is wait that little side hill is tough. Sorry, if some of it was boring, because i didn’t talk a lot, but it was mainly driving so hopefully you guys enjoyed that part of it um going forward. Yeah i’m, not gon na put any of these brass parts onto this guy, yet i think it functions fantastically. The suspension is working great, even though it’s stock, the weight in the tires, i think, is the key to this thing’s success, because it’ll, crawl and it’ll go sideways on many parts. I can’t wait to have it up against uh medics, keep and his skill as a driver, because that’s just way more fun than playing by yourself right and then uh yeah there’s, always tintin, uh he’s, enjoying the really nice weather hanging out with his car and his Daughter, so i can’t blame him for not being here, but damn it austin come over and play with me. The uh yeah there’s, not much else to say that side hill was wicked. I got ta get more rocks inside it’s supposed to snow.
