Already in this thing was that possible whoa. We are back out at home base here. If you guys recall, the original twin turbo was actually ran on this road. Now, the difference between that day and today is that we’re running it on an infraction now. No, i did not just slap it on here just to see what it can do top speed, because i do not actually want it to really be a top speed project. The purpose behind these will be to achieve 100 miles an hour in the quickest time possible. So falcon, which is the name of this project, will hit a hundred miles an hour before any of my other vehicles, so this will be the quickest, accelerating vehicle that i currently own, all right. So, as you guys can see, there are two of the same exact edfs and keep in mind. These beautiful thrust tubes were actually made by rod house and he actually has youtube uh so be sure to follow him at rc physics, uh and contact him. If you have any questions regarding anything, rc, it’s really really nice. So regarding the mounting and everything of these two guys, it’s actually on a metal bracket and it through the edf, thrust tube as well as held together to be sure that they really have the same amount of torque going forward. Because if i were to actually undo these, one of them will pull a little bit more depending on a lot of stuff, really so it’s being sure that the whole vehicle goes at the same amount of left and right thrust.
So it’s really hard to explain. But that’s pretty much what i had to do and it’s also supported on top of the infraction body. How convenient is that? So you have both of those guys right there and it’s bolted on, and these are not going to go anywhere. You guys are actually going to see a first person view of what it’s like to do 0 to 100 in falcon on the rear spoiler, as well as on top of the cab. So we’re going to be getting some on board footage just come off easily like that. Now all you got to do is be careful because the wires for the edfs don’t exactly reach as far all right. Now that the sun is out, as you guys can see, we have a 2028 castle, 1100 kv, alongside what the two edfs are actually attached to, as you guys can see up there. They are all routed down here to the mamba x esc’s in parallel, so we have it all neatly wired up here, parallel to channel two look at that now regarding the main power, what we will be using we’re gon na be using the cnhl force cell batteries. They are the 70c 6000 milliamp g plus series in series, so we are going to be running this on 8s total and both the edfs are going to be running on 5 cell mini stars also from cnhl, as you guys can see, 120c and it’s going to Have a lot of punch a lot of rpm as well, so we’re gon na see what they top out and we’re gon na get some runs in Music, oh my god! Well i wasn’t gon na do an edf demo but uh.
Damn that one’s kind of off balance well it’s not happening today, damn that is not good, well bracket bent, looks like these little thing. Uh the splitter attachments bent everything here still dries, which is a good thing. Yeah damn these grps. They are not the same. What they used to be whole belt ripped all right guys. Well, all good things must come to an end. At least the very very nice 6000 milliamp battery stayed in actually the uh the metal bracket. I put there forced it to stay in so that’s. A good thing, as for the other guys in the back, they were ejected. Thankfully they actually landed in the grass, so uh not too much damage done to those batteries either. I got ta check the cells a little bit of bend on this carbon uh skid plate, which isn’t that bad, i just probably re, bend it, but again guys grp strikes again inside rim of the tire and it just blew, which is really really unfortunate. What is the biggest hit that i’m going to take are going to be the thrust tubes because you cannot buy these anywhere. They were made specifically for a project, so i need to pray. I can get these back in working condition. Uh the edfs. Oh, this edf is gone that got ejected out it’s in the car uh. The mounting the carbon mounting bracket for the edfs actually stayed on there, which is a good thing, but um yeah.
This is uh gone all the wires yanked out, but it’s still getting it i’m still really happy about it, and we’re definitely going to have something like this in the future, all right. So if you guys could see my mouse i’m going to prove the times of what i stated earlier, so if you can see my mouse we’re here at zero miles an hour you see, the time of the video is also right here at zero miles an hour. So i’m still in the middle of editing of this, but it is still so much easier to figure these times out this way, all right, so we are going to hit 60 and then 100 and then i’m going to stop it each time here we go. Oh wait a little bit past, all right, so we’re at exactly 60 and i was actually using uh these little next frame buttons, so it goes frame by frame. So we are going to be pretty accurate on this one 0 to 60 in exactly 2.2 seconds. Not sure if you guys could see that but uh that that’s really quick, now we’re going to go up to 100 99 next frame there we go all right exactly 100 and we are at 4.17 seconds to 100 miles an hour that is insane now.
