4 gigahertz included charger and battery and It’S, electric powered we’ve also got another variant there and there’s. Some information on the back of the box hold that up. If you want to pause and have a read same with all the information there, so yeah, just a quick look at the box, let’s get it out and have a closer look at what you get inside the box and the truck itself and there she is the Little rgt adventurer what a gorgeous looking little truck i’ve got a body pins off, so it’s going to be a bit shaky, so i can show you the underside, but the scale aesthetics of this truck are amazing. Really nice. Looking truck we’ll talk a bit more about that, so in the box you get the included 520 amp milliamp hour battery little 1s lipo battery. You get your included usb charger and instruction manual with all the parts numbers and whatnot. If you need any replacements – and you also get the nice compact style transmitter which easy to transport takes four triple a’s and it simply clips in like that fits nice in one hand, we’ve got proportional steering proportional throttle nice bit of foam on the wheel there and We’Ve got a steering: reverse channel we’ve got a third channel button. There we’ve got a throttle, dual rate, a steering dual rate, a throttle, trim, a steering trim and our on and off switch does the job. So the truck itself, as i was saying, it’s really nice.
Looking we’ve got some little wing mirrors here which are foldable, which i think, if you tumble it’s, going to stop them snapping off, got a nice roll cage on it, and the overall aesthetics of this truck are really nice for such a little track. They crammed in a lot of detail. We’Ve got headlights situated in the bumper there and we’ve got rear lights situated on the rear bumper there as well functional spare, tyre and uh yeah let’s have a look at the features that we’ve got we’ve got some super soft tires fair play. These are some of the softest tires i have ever ever witnessed. Really really soft to touch for such a small truck after we’ve got friction loaded spring dampers plenty of flex. There are those and if we take the body off we’ll, take a closer look at what else we’ve got inside, so we’ve got a servo, an axle mounted three wire servo there, and then what makes this the version two is: we’ve got the motor mounted up front Here into a gearbox and then it gets transferred via a nice metal drive shaft into the transfer case in the middle, so there’s a nice there’s, a nice aspect of reduction there, whereas the version one would have this gearbox situated in the center here. We’Ve now got an extra step of reduction here. With this center transfer case, we’ve got a two in one esc receiver, which is waterproof. Our on off switch is situated here and uh yeah, not a lot else to see drive shaft driven, so the power gear is split then sent to each axle so it’s a true 4×4 and yeah.
The battery lives here at the back got a nice little elastic band, just pop that under there really easy to install plenty of room there. I think you could get a bigger battery in there and then the on and off switch it’s. A simple push on and off transmitter turn it on and we’ve got a blue light to show its binding. So, as i mentioned, we’ve got a fully proportional 3y servo, so you can get some really nice slow control out of it and it seems to have a lot of power in it as well. Fair play for such a little circle and we’ve got our proportional throttle and the modulation is really nice on this truck. So, as you can see, when the throttle is applied, the headlights and rear lights come on, but as for control, slow control, you can really tell that extra reduction in the center transfer case really helps this truck to crawl. Really slow and smooth Applause. Let’S try and do a nice big. Three point turn here on the workbench, for you plenty of steering angle here for such a little track and you can see those rear lights as well as the throttles applied. They come on as well. Nice little touch there, so that’s the features and functionality. What we’ll do we’ll build a little course here on the workbench and then we’ll come back and we’ll talk about the good points and bad points of this little track.
Okay, wow those tires are really gripping. Wow slow instead, he wins the race. Just let the tires do the work here bit of wheel, speed there come on there. We go okay, nice and slow control now line it up with the roof for the c24, not a lot of room for error up here and the little rgt is up very impressed. Uh let’s, bring it back down and we’ll, see how well it handles the declines. As well, yeah really nice aspect, slow control, very impressed so far, so that front right has got a long way to drop and there we go. Oh slow and steady let’s bring the the rear wheels down as well, and there we have it really impressed. This is a capable little crawler, to say the least. I will be taking this out on the trail as well, but i have no doubt this will handle everything i throw it out on the trail. So uh let’s take a look at the good points and the bad points now so the good points it’s got a really nice aspect of slow control that uh motor mounted up the front. There is being beneficial to the weight distribution. So if i put my finger there in the middle as you can see that the truck is well it’s tipping backwards right now, but i get right in the middle. The truck tips forward, which is always good, helps you climb up those hills as we’ve just seen.
The truck wasn’t tipping backwards on that really steep climb and uh yeah. The the center transfer box gives a really nice reduction and a nice slow crawl. We’Ve got some super soft tires which give ample grip as well really nice um. Where else we got good there’s lots of good we’ve got proportional, steering we’ve got a nice little set of headlights and it generally looks really nice all round. There’S, probably a lot more. I could say good about this. We’Ve got a metal chassis in there as well and looking closely at the way the chassis is made and the parts these are pretty much interchangeable with the sg 1802 and the the scx 24 as well. So that’s that’s a good thing plenty of upgrades out there as well. Okay, bad points, uh, really nitpicky, here uh sits at around 90, which is, if you think about it, for such a small track, it’s quite a lot of money. But then again you pay it’s. A really nice track, there’s lots of quality parts here, nice soft tires the electronics, uh, really nice and slow and controlled there’s plenty of power. In that little front mounted mode there and uh yeah yeah you take the good little bad. I think i think these little trucks, if you look at the scx 24, which is probably about 120 dollars, so this this is about 30 dollars cheaper and probably on par with performance, i’d, say um bad points as well.
If we take a look at the the travel in the rear suspension, it uses the whole shock tower and you get plenty of articulation and flexi. If we take a look at the front line, is it? What seems to be happening? Is the front? Axle is actually catching on the now. Let me show you that i mean that’s a good angle. The front axle is actually catching on the servo horn, so there’s not a lot of flex to be hard of the front axle. But with that said, the overall flex of this truck is still really good, um and that’s pretty much it for the bad points tad bit expensive, but you’re getting yourself a really nice track and that front axle just needs a little bit more flex. So yeah just a quick look around today, i will be taking this on. The trail, like i said so, make sure to like subscribe hit that notification bell, so you don’t, miss out on that and yeah we’ve got new content coming every wednesday and sunday.
