So this car arrived in the mail today and uh. I got it online it’s, pretty cool it actually was very, very cheap. It was only 10 us dollars which is really cheap for an rc car, though this is a toy grade so yeah this arrived in the mail today and i unboxed it quickly and i got got around to kind of messing with it on my desk. So today, let’s take a good look at it. So first of all, we’re gon na start with the packaging set the car right there, and i got the packaging right here. Yeah that’s the packaging just kind of a very normal toy grade. Packaging, it’s tarp up shoot messed up my light there perfect okay, so this is just a very normal kind of toy grade packaging. Not nothing, really, nothing really special right back to the car. So this car is a very toy grade car, so that means we have a toy grade controller which is right here and actually looks very cheap, so uh yeah. This car is just a toy, not not a hobby grade rc or anything like that. So we’re gon na start with kind of the little details of the car and then we’re gon na move on to the functions of the car right. So wait. Let me shut this car down. First there we go all right, so the front we just have. This is a plastic body and also a plastic base.
I don’t know why i’m reviewing it like it’s, a precision, skill model but it’s a plastic body. We have no interior. The uh windshield is just painted black, but we do have a pretty neat little uh black matte black hood right here and uh. The headlights are also individual plastic pieces, but uh they are not very detailed and the only other individual plastic pieces on the cars are uh the front bumper and the rear lights. Yeah. This car is finished in white and this is actually a paint job. I think you can see like there are some orange peel on there, so that means it’s actual paint it’s, not just plastic, so that’s a nice thing and this car is rolling on some hayashi wheels. I think these are called these wheels are actually pretty popular in the uh old school jdm scene. You see them on sort of bazooka cars and uh yeah. This car is rolling awesome hayashi wheels, although i don’t think this is licensed. I mean this car is licensed, but i have no idea if the wheels are licensed as well, but who cares so this particular sunny, so the sunny has or the sunny truck has a few different versions. I think this is the short bed version there’s the long bed version – and this is the also the round headlights version. There are also the uh square rectangular headlights version, so this car is actually not a very good uh kind of string kind of shrunken down scale model.
This is actually a cute version of the truck. So, as you can see on the package, let me get the on the package. The front wheel is a bit closer to the head to the front of the car, but on the toy here the front wheel is actually pretty far so this is actually a cute version of the real car. So it’s not like it’s, not like anything like this, which is a precise scale model. So, moving on to the side the side we had just the normal black windscreen and we also have some uh old school hood mirrors, which i think is always very cool and uh getting runny nose and also black detail on the door. But who really cares, and also we have this this thing that i have not been able to identify what this is and the same set of hayashi wheels and uh moving on to the back? Oh god, moving on to the back, this has got to be the sh, the shallowest truck bed i’ve ever seen, but yeah. I i think that they made it this uh. I think the reason that they actually made it this shallow was because they had to accommodate the motor down there, yeah it’s really dry by the way i’m moving on to the rear, no, not much very, not very much detail. We have sunny on here and they’re. Just the red plastic pieces for the tail lights, and also the fuel cap is on this side right in terms of performance.
This thing is running on three triple a batteries and uh for the controller it’s, actually pretty hard to lift. Oh there you go it’s running on some it’s running on two double a batteries and how you turn this car on is. Basically, there is no switch for the controller, so you can only turn on the car and then the controller will automatically pair with your car. So, if it’s on definitely not a very professional sounding motor let’s see how fast it goes, get ready, it’s about to be a blazing flyby Applause – oh okay, acceleration, wise it’s, actually pretty good. I think the in terms of kind of thrusting out it’s actually faster than my wpld12, but yeah, basically how you control this car is uh. This is forwards. Well, let me forward backwards and steering is this steering why it’s not very good? The turning radius is actually not that great, so i’m gon na attempt to make a? U turn on my desk? Hey, you know what we actually made it there. We go all right, so i don’t think i have anything else to add to this car it’s. A pretty fun stay at home, rc car that you can kind of sprint around your desk, it’s, fun and uh you definitely. You could definitely lay down a course for this it’ll be fun yeah. The small size makes the car really agile, so yeah that’s. Basically, my little review on it, i hope you enjoyed this – has been pocket rockets.
