2020 Spin Master Monster Jam Year In Review!

So in this video i am basically just going to be giving you guys a big overview on all of the trucks that were released for spin master monster gym this year in 2020, um we’re going to be going through all the singles mixes. All the doubles. All the exclusives, the superstore exclusives, the five packs and everything like that um so i’d like to always make this video every single new year’s eve. Basically, just going through, am spus, a big overview on that year of uh, spin master monster jam trucks that were released and back before 2019, when it was hot wheels monster jam um. But if i remember correctly, i don’t think i actually made one last year for 2019 and i think the main reason for that was just simply because i don’t think i had found mix 8 yet, which was the final mix of 2019. And since i was missing a full mix, i think that’s why i didn’t make a year in review video last year, so this is actually my first ever year in review, video with uh spin master monster jam. So without further ado, i am going to jump right into it and we are going to start off by taking a look at mix 9.. So here it is right here. These are all of the trucks that were released in mix 9. The very first mix of 2020 and honestly, i think it was a pretty solid start to the year.

We had a solid eight trucks, so let’s go take a closer look at it now. So first things. First, we have my personal favorite from this mix, which was the gold aurelius bakugan dragonoid um. Obviously nobody expected this truck at all and i think they did a pretty good job on it honestly, and it is definitely my favorite from this mix. Then we had the world finals 19, black max d, which i think is another very cool truck, very close to being my favorite from this mix, but i think it falls just short to the gold dragonoid. Then we have the overcast zombie. This was a cool truck as well, then mohawk warrior. Finally, with the updated mohawk, then we had two nitro neons trucks in this mix, which are jurassic, attack and octinator, and then the last two trucks was two variants. We have the pink rimmed monster metalmation and then the gray rimmed, with bkts uh for grave digger, so that was that is mix nine right. There, um not really too much to say about it: Sunt., not really going to go too in depth on these mixes. Only because i’ve done full mix reviews on the majority of these mixes already and then also because i just don’t want this video to be extremely long, but that is mix nine so now moving on to mix ten. Now this was the first mix of the year where we had a chase piece which obviously the chase piece in 2020 was the ride trucks.

So my favorite truck here in mix 10 is the ride, truck gravedigger the chase piece, and then we also had an inverse truck with brodozer, which i think looks absolutely sick. I think brodozer was a very good idea for them to do in the inverse series. Then we finally got stone crusher. We got two fantasy trucks here with monster mud, poodle and queen bee. Nobody expected those two trucks to be released, but they did it and i think they executed it pretty perfectly. So then we have scooby doo, the first ever scooby doo that we got in the singles line, because the only one that we had that we had gotten up to this point was released in the demolition doubles in 2019 with the mystery machine. So it was super cool to finally have a scooby doo in the singles line and then next up we had the first boneyard series truck of the year, which was gravedigger and then two variants at the end here with soldier fortune and el toro loco uh, the Only difference on these were the bkts on both of the tires uh, the only difference from this version versus the singles one that was released in 2019. Actually, it was a double pack for soldier fortune in 2019, when it came with soldier fortune, black ops but yeah. There is another look at mix 10, a very solid mix, one of my favorite mixes of the year and um yeah, so that is mix 10.

We are now going to be moving on to mix 11. here. It is right here so now, let’s take a closer look at it, so we had another chase piece in this mix right here with the bkt ride truck. This was the second one out of six to be released for 2020. Then we have the first ever reckless truck to be released, which is salvager. This is another one of my favorite trucks from 2020.. I think this is an amazing truck super happy that they were able to make a design like that and i think they executed it perfectly and i think it looks really really nice. So next up we have the split paint job world final 16 bounty hunter. Another truck that i really was not expecting them to make, but i think they did a very good job on it. Then we finally got raisin kane super happy. They were able to make this. I was hoping we could have got it in 2019, but better late than never. We got raisin kane here in mix 11., then we had batman, another very cool truck and then we have the inverse alien invasion. I believe this is the second inverse truck to be released. Then we have the first ever elemental, Camioane, which is the elemental trucks gravedigger, and then we have nitro neons dragon. I believe this is the third nitro neons truck to be released after the jurassic attack and actinator, and then we also have soldier fortune black ops to end off the mix.

This one has the uh bkt printing on the tires, so that is mix 11. Honestly, i didn’t really put too much thought into the beginning of this video on what my favorite mix was of the year. But this one is definitely very close, but i don’t think it’s my favorite mix overall, because you guys are going to see in a couple of minutes. Your mix 13 is really really cool, but um anyways, so that is mix 11. We are now going to be moving on to mix 12, so we have the third of six chase pieces here in this mix with the blue thunder ride truck and then we have wolf’s head. This is probably my favorite truck to be released in 2020. I really really like wolf’s head. Then we have the reckless gravedigger, the second ever reckless truck to be released this year after salvager, which gravedigger is a very cool truck as well all the different gravediggers throughout the years that they decided to include in this body. Uh look very very nice, then we have freebird. We actually had the uh superstore exclusive fourth of july freebird was released. I believe before this one, or at least nobody had really found this one um until after they already had the fourth of july one uh. Then we have the overcast earth shaker, definitely a very cool truck to add into the overcast series. I really like that one. Then we have the, i believe.

Second elemental trucks with megalodon the first one was gravedigger back back in mix 11.. Then we have the first ever singles version of aftershock. We had the doubles in 2019, which i believe came with max d. If i’m not mistaken. I could be wrong on that, but anyways um. Nonetheless, this is the first ever singles version that we got of aftershock, which is pretty cool. Then we have wonder woman, which has a uh like bluish purple top, which is different from the one that we had in 2019 and then a variant of whiplash. This one has like 10 uh rims or like a whitish tan, color, so yeah that is whiplash and that is mix 12.. Here is one final look at it like, am spus, wolf’s head. Definitely my favorite truck from this mix and probably my favorite truck from the entire year, so that is mix 12 and now moving on to the final singles mix of the year mix 13.. Nwo, obviously, we were supposed to get 14 and 15, but with uh covid 19 and everything the distribution on the spin master monster. Gem trucks has not been up to where it was supposed to be um because, like i said because of cove and everything, and how crazy this year has been, there was supposed to be seven mixes. We only got five of them, but here’s. The final mix, which is mix uh 13. also one other thing i would like to mention, is mix 14 – is supposed to be released really soon.

I think early february is when we should finally see mix 14, which has black pearl and a bunch of other cool trucks and then mix 15, hopefully sometime by like march or april, so anyways here’s mix 13. So we have another chase piece here with megalodon uh. The megalodon ride truck then we have thrasher, which is very, very cool, a truck that i was not expecting to get and another truck that i was definitely not expecting to get is backwards bob, but this truck looks really really cool. I’M super happy. They made this one. Then we have the third reckless truck with el toro loco, which looks really sick. Tropical thunder another truck. I was not expecting to get this year and then we have superman another one that i was not expecting to get. This mix was full of surprises this year, then we have racing stripes, we have the red throwback gravedigger and we have the boneyard series zombie so honestly as a whole, it’s really really close, but i would probably have to say that mix 13 is probably my favorite Mix of the year, am spus, it’s really really close mix 11 is a close. Second, i would say, but mix 13 has got to be my favorite of the year so here’s. One final look at mix 13 as a whole and now we’re going to be moving on to the non uh, the trucks that were released in the um singles mixes.

So like right here we have the creature series, which obviously is not a part of the main line, i meant to say not the mainline series, but these are the creatures series. So let’s take a closer look, so the first three here are from mix one. We have the purple gravedigger max d and pirates curse. Those are the three trucks released in mix one then in mix two we have the regular gravedigger, the gold max d and son of a digger and then mix. Three only has two trucks, which i only have one of them right now, which is the zombie gravedigger, literally the only difference between this truck and the other zombie gravedigger that was released in the double pack with. I believe the hunter son of a digger is just the rims. The rims on this one are red and the rims on the one and the demolition doubles are black, but i am missing megalodon. That is the one truck that i am missing from. Basically, this entire year, not counting, reveal the steel is the creatures megalodon, which is a part of mix 3, so i’m still trying to find that um but yeah. That is the creatures trucks. Now i don’t really have a favorite mix over the others, because some have two trucks: some have three um they’re, very small mixes, which makes sense because they’re more expensive. I think the creatures trucks are about 13, so um yeah, they’re more expensive.

Now i don’t actually have the actual, like creature figures um out with these as well. I probably should have got them actually but it’s, ok, but i think my two favorite, though what are my two favorites, which i think most people can probably agree with me – are the son of a digger and purple gravedigger. Those are probably my two favorite creature trucks. I would say: Uh, the other five are pretty cool or six. If you count, megalodon are pretty cool but um. Those two are definitely my favorite, so those are the creatures trucks that were released. That was a brand new series for 2020 and now let’s. Take a look at the fire and ice, so these eight fire, nice trucks right here are rumored to be the final fire nice trucks. We will never get now. I don’t know if that’s, true or not but um, since these were very early in 2020 and we haven’t seen any sign of any more fire and ice trucks uh being released. I guess we might. We may not ever get more fire nice trucks, so these might be the final eight um of the fire and ice line so let’s take a closer look. So the first four trucks here are from mix three of the fire and ice singles from team ice. We have northern nightmare and bakugan dragonoid and then from team fire we have whiplash and soldier fortune black ops. Now for the doubles.

This was mixed. Two of the doubles. We have the fire monster, mud husky with the ice monster mutt, and then we have the fire horsepower with the ice octinator. So those are the eight fire nice trucks that we got in 2020. Those were pretty early in 2020. I think i found them back in like february or march, i think march. Actually, i think that sounds about right, so um yeah, those are the eight fire and ice trucks that we got and now we are moving on to the walmart exclusive zombie invasion series we’re going to start off with just the singles here. So in mix one of the singles we had pirates, curse, megalodon, mohawk, warrior and northern nightmare and then in mix 2 we had dragon el tor, loco monster, mutt, rottweiler and blue thunder. So those were the eight zombie invasion singles that we got in 2020, which was a very cool series. I really like the zombie invasion series. I think they did an amazing job. I think it was very creative and um executed perfectly. So those are the singles and now for the doubles. We have the zombie versus hunter doubles. So in mix one of the doubles we have the zombie gravedigger and hunters son of a digger. Then we have the zombie monster, ma and hunter’s earth shaker. We have the zombies, zombie and the hunter soldier fortune and then the zombie monster, mutt, dalmatian and the hunters max d, so uh.

This is mix 2. By the way. The first four were from mix one and then the second four are for mix two of the zombie invasion series or the zombie versus hunter demolition doubles. I should say so: um yeah those are the zombie versus hunter trucks, very, very cool as well, and now we’re going to be moving on to the five or the two five packs that were released in 2020. Here they are right here, as you guys can see, but let’s take a closer look. So first things: first, we have the max d5 pack with yellow max d, red max d, maximum destruction, team mints and the decade of destruction max d. So this was a very cool five pack, since they did gravedigger in 2019. I think max d was a very good idea for them to do in 2020 and um yeah. Those are the five trucks in it, a very cool five pack nonetheless, and then the next five pack that we have is the fire and ice five packs. So we have the fire megalodon fire zombie, the split paint job fire, nice grave, Excavator, ice, el tor, loco and ice dragon, so that is the fire nice five pack. Now this was a walmart exclusive, whereas the max d5 pack was a target exclusive, so um yeah. Those are the two five packs that we got in 2020. The only one that we had in 2019, of course, was the uh gravedigger five pack.

We had these two for 2020 and um yeah. Now we are moving on to the final six trucks that were released in 2020, but the first five here are the five superstore exclusives that we got so the first one that we got was the stunt truck. Then we had world finals 20. Then we had the fourth of july free bird mohawk, warrior vampire and the holiday christmas stunt truck. So those are the five superstore exclusives that we got. I know a lot of people when they get those they like to keep them in the box and keep them carded, but i actually like to open them and see them out of the package and have them compete in my sign up series and everything like that. So those are the five uh superstore exclusives. I think man it’s tough to pick a favorite, but i don’t know i was gon na say what i think my favorite is, but it’s too tough to pick all five of these trucks are very, very cool and i’m super happy to have those in my collection. Deci, like i was saying, those are just five of the final six trucks that were released in 2020 and you guys are probably wondering what is the final truck that was released in 2020. Bine, i am about to show you guys here. It is right here. Definitely my rarest spin master truck and possibly even with hot wheels monster jam could be the rarest truck that i have in my collection, and here it is right here it is the 2020 Jucărie, Corect, employee, exclusive bakugan dragonoid.

I know the lighting isn’t very good, but um here it is right here. I actually should have just put it like this to begin with, but here it is right here um. I made a review on this not even a week ago, so um i’d also just like to give monster jam ocd another special thanks for this. I know i thanked him a lot in that review, video but um. I got this for monster gym ocd, and i am very very appreciative and grateful to have this in my collection. This is an awesome truck that i’m definitely going to keep in the box forever. Um here’s the outside cover as well. That goes like around it. I can’t really do it with one hand or actually maybe i can um. This obviously goes in here i’m sure you guys have seen it um. This is how it comes like this so yeah that is the uh toy, Corect, employee, exclusive bakugan, dragonoid and um yeah. That is pretty much it for this video. This video was honestly a little bit longer than i was expecting. So if you guys actually watch this video and you guys watched all the way until the end, i really do appreciate it um.
