Arrma Senton 3s (4s conversion mod) post crash damage report

Now we’ve had a little bit of an oopsy daisy here, tough i’m, a tough armament excuse me what’d! You say i thought what did you say? Eu sunt., a tough remember! I thought i said you weren’t supposed to talk, get all right. Bine baieti! I got ta. Take care of this i’ll be right back you’re, bad, all, right, Baieti, sorry for the crazy interruption. I think the traxxas thinks it’s. Mr bandit, there thinks it’s really funny that arma went for a for a flight in the sky and got destroyed. So if you’ve been following on the arma sentinel, Mare, rock and granite facebook page, i posted a little bit on there as to what actually happened and right here in the light you can already see. We’Ve got some pretty serious rash all the way around and on the top here this is nasty. This is pretty awful i’m really pretty upset about it. The story is, i was cruising, i would say, pretty much full speed. I was on the road we were. I was with friends, we were flying and all of a sudden, i’m cruising and then the wheel yanks, so it jerks to one side. I hear a crack and i’m had no idea what was happening. I tried to correct it, but it just over corrected the other way and it decided to go up in the air and it took a good flight landed right on its head and just slid down the asphalt i mean it had to be like a 30 foot Slide it was awful and when i got to the truck which we’re going to look into right now, it was not doing so hot and now i am kind of perplexed as to exactly what happened.

But i think a whole bunch of things happened real, quick all at once. So starting with you guys know, i just put different tires on my truck so yeah these tires. They look great. They uh they weren’t wearing out. You know they were holding up, but uh yeah there’s your problem, so these literally the rim is missing. I don’t, even i don’t know where it even went. I was going i’m assuming i was going too fast for the tires and this one shattered completely and when it initially happened and blew out. I think that this just smashed turned the wheel and started causing the problem, the other one, also cracked. They they like disintegrated. It was, it was crazy and because of this happening, it screwed up my steering servo it screwed up everything inside the truck, so give me one. Second, i’ll get this body off and by the way i did get new clips i’m so upset guys that this got broke. So if we look in here, so i have a savox servo, adică, all fine and dandy here, but when this hit when it broke, it basically hyper extended the entire steering rack in here and now. If you look, even though the servo is working, i’ve got this crazy amount of play like it to me. It’S unacceptable it’s, not the servo, the servo’s sitting. Still, but now i got ta like everything is just loose: este, pretty bad um. I believe it’s, the steering rack something in here has just just decided it doesn’t want to be alive anymore it’s.

Nwo, if we go down and close here, you can see there is just a ton of play here and it’s, not it’s, not any one thing. It’S almost like, like these bolts, are as tight as they can be i’m, not gon na over tighten them. But, Cu toate acestea, this landed when it spun the tire and everything stripped out. I just think it hyper extended some of this plastic, and now i just have this horrible amount of slop the steering servo the horn actually stripped out. I had to get that fixed and uh. Da, i put the stock tires back on uh the bumper yeah bumper. Still broke, the rest of the vehicle seems to have taken the hit quite well again. This was running 4s, so this thing is, it was zooming i’m, i’m really just upset over these tires. I can’t believe that they just would explode like that, but because of that now i have this crazy amount of play that i really can’t get rid of unless i take it completely apart and maybe i’ll just replace all the pieces, but i had to reset the Servo i had to finagle it all around it’s still not 100, but she will still drive now um. I could not believe how far this thing flew into the air and landed this poor truck. It got gouged like it didn’t look. It was pretty much a mint body, but that freaking tire exploded. I don’t know if i got a bad batch or what i mean these were just amazon tires, but man did this.

This was a crack in a half like, i didn’t even see i don’t when it happened, it was so fast and it cracked so quick. I don’t even know where the tire like the piece of the rim actually went. It was just there and then crack and then turn, and this thing just went up like a freaking sail and it slammed down hard it scratched to hell. I do have to say i am still impressed at how well it did handle that crash, but i’m really upset that uh. It even happened. I guess i blame myself, but i also blame those freaking tires that shouldn’t have happened. You’Ll see the rubber mark. You can see where one of the tires just scrambled and scratched that’s rubber. I tried to uh clean it off, but nope that’s, the one front tire when it exploded uh yeah. So that just tells me that on 4s, this little sentinel is hauling. I mean this motor uh. I got ta clean this thing up a little bit, but this thing screams and loves it and i’m super happy with the 4s. But now i guess i got ta look into better tires or just run these stocks till they’re bald, as can be, but yeah this wiggle, oh man, it just kills me because i, when you’re driving it you don’t notice it but it’s. Just the fact that it’s there just oh man, bine baieti, we got the transmitter on going to power up the truck to see if my little patch job with the servo saver is working.

Hopefully it is so we can get some turning action and let’s see. We got some turn. We got some more shake it baby, adică. What i want to see where? Why did you get back here? I thought i told you can never. He doesn’t want to show you anything quit telling him to shake it for him, damn traxxas! Just what are you doing? What are you doing? Man come on i’m trying to make a video and you’re over here i’m. Just antagonizing me servo target twerk. It twerk it all right, Baieti, Sunt.. Sorry for that traxxas just wants to get attention. I guess so. I haven’t really adjusted the end points yeah, but my patch job does appear to be working, so if it stops monsooning out there, just a little bit we’re gon na take this out and we’re gon na have some fun. Maybe we’ll get some nice donuts on the wet pavement all right guys. As you can see, it is still monsooning out here. Everything is flooded. I can’t really go outside and get the arma out here, because it ain’t gon na be any fun, so we’re gon na have to postpone our next joy ride for a little while here, but i just want to say thanks for watching uh, if you like this Kind of stuff, i got way more videos to come, but unfortunately, for now it looks like we’re gon na have to take a little pause, because i can’t get this thing out in this.

This is ridiculous. I really was hoping for some better weather, but unfortunately you can’t control mother nature.
