Building an RC Monster Jam Figure 8 StyleTrack In My Backyard For My LMT

I have my tractor out here. We are getting ready to do some work on the track, so we’re going to tear this up. You can see. I’Ve got some lines painted here. Five feet: five feet: five feet: five feet: gon na make this one long jump going that way, and then we’re gon na have a turn in the back corner there, and so we’re gon na make a little race track of sorts monster. Jam style switch it up. A bit so we can do uh two trucks at a time, so it should be fun, let’s get to it and then another jump over here, just kind of a little bit of a short down version of this keeping the humps. But these are jumps instead of the big right right, pods that they have. There is everything what they’re called pods. I think we can do that. They also do so. You got your starting jumps here, Da, so these are the two matched ones you hit those to come out. I i just kind of you can do it either figure eight or you can just do it in oval right. ok, i, like it Music Music, do Music, Muzica, so Music wow, guys that was quick. This tractor really does make this job a little bit easier. We got it so we could change up the track, like this i’m kind of out of breath. I’Ve been sitting here. Tamping these jumps with my foot like so trying to get them to harden up and firm up, because once this clay dirt mixture dries, it just crumbles and you can’t get it to really pack in so trying to get the packing done now.

But um yeah, my son, picked out this course it’s a figure eight. We found it on google, google images for monster jam track and uh we’d done one before when we got the the raminator and i rented um a skid steer and all that to come out here and uh do it. Then i got the tractor kind of set up another couple pods back here. While we were waiting for things to settle and now um went and set up a figure, eight with two pods back there. The start line and pods start finish. So basically, you’d come off of this jump off to the left go around this pod here, then you come over this it’s, just a little bump go out and around and back through the other one does the opposite. These pods are different, they’re the same size for going around, but this has a big jump face here and on this side, it’s like squares, like one square stacked with another square next to it, and these ones jump off in those directions. One here and one going that way – and this is like a step up – just kind of table top style – just something for playing around on we’ll – get the backflip ramp in there eventually, where that other jump is kind of off the back side. So i’ve already got a jump here, it’s all hard to kind of see right now because of the shadows or of the trees and all that falling on it.

But yeah two pods here you can jump this one out that way across here kind of like a diamond shape and uh. I just tried to make sure that they kind of swooped about the same. So there really wouldn’t be an advantage um, but yeah uh, jalen, edwards smith and his brother worked on theirs and made it look. Super awesome got me pumped about getting back out here and finishing ours up and redoing it, because it was in the plans and uh i’ve been working in the rv uh trying to get that all situated and we’re kind of renovating it. Putting in like peel and stick tile floors and stuff it’s, it’s old, este, 20 years old, so um trying to give it a fresh update, it’s kind of just the the carpet and all that was pretty matted and and uh tore up so um yeah. I needed to stop being on my knees and uh hunched over putting that down and cutting all the tiles and all that, and so i said i need to sit down. I want to get on my tractor get out there and uh hit this again. I was inspired, you guys did an awesome job with your course, and i saw matt stultz posted about the timing system and i’m like kept going back. It kept popping up in my group, uh notes or my feed. I didn’t order it, but the temptation was there and uh. I thought what would i ever use it for? Bine, maybe we’d use it back here.

I don’t know not not saying i’m ordering it yet but i’m tempted anyway. Guys thanks for tuning in i’m. Gon na give it a quick test here with the lmt, see how it does and uh yeah go from there. So let’s do it now that i’ve torn up the backyard too the dirt’s real nice Music? Oh, we went for the front clip intentionally and got whatever we could get Music again. Don’T. You give me a warning Music, ah turtle, so for racing you go boom, hit that come around figure, eight Music and through Music. What Music? o, da, that was it moonwalked! It now we can go a little bit crazy. Just kind of hit me cross threading upset the truck Music Applause Music too much power pulling in a little bicycle across the starting block. Oh perfectly downsided, Muzica, now we’re, just going until we crash see if we can’t. Ah ended a flip nice that was a fun run right. There really really fun run Music. I haven’t hit this hit. Yet it’s definitely got some sand to it. A little bump, drăguţ, Muzica, steve too much traction got it, so you can kind of send it every which way out here find some different approaches to things. Take that over oh yeah, Aplauze, Muzica, Uh, even where there’s not a face, he can hit Music done. Muzica. Muzica, oh baby, that was the one Music Music finds traction again: oh that’s, a nice one Music that was real nice.

Oh, i missed it. Oh finishes the wrong way. All right so started here: let’s go Music, there’s a screen pass Music Music. So the other way we could do it is go or we could just do Music let’s go around and actually fake it out and then go this way around and through options. Trying to run this battery down, give it a little freestyle action, a little bit of a moonwalk cross, threading it and there’s the battery dead, all right guys there you have it there’s a run for you on the new course here. I am loving this course. So many options for us to really have some fun and uh just shred so much easier to do it with that tractor that really saved the day.
