Steering and throttle input are key in drifting. Proportional is key. RWD only, all wheel is power sliding. I slide irl, drive a BRZ coming from a 240 w/skyline motor. Great Video!

Oh, just too cool! I would try soaking in warm soapy H2O to exchange the tires on those wheels. Were you at the mall before the stores opened? I didn't see anyone there & the parking lot was pretty empty. Surprised you didn't get BUSTED by the MALL COPS!🤣😂 I agree that you need a large open space to run a drift car like a basketball court or smooth cement area. Very fun & different review, din nou. There's a reason why drifters use proportional steering. You have much better control over the vehicle.

Tires you should have a second set of rims….drifting……turn one way then other as it turning(movie CARS—to turn left….turn right and same for right)
Looks like junk toy grade rc. No way can reach estimated speeds.
It's a good toy for a kid, but it's pretty useless for drift, you really do need proportional steering and throttle to control the car other wise like in your video, you'll just be spinning all the time. People have different ideas about getting started, but if you're not up for building a kit which takes a fair bit of knowledge to set it up correctly, something I'm still learning, then you could grab something like the Kyosho Mini-Z AWD. Runs on AAA batteries, has proportional steering and throttle, it run straight out of the box so you don't have to worry about figuring out the settings. A bit expensive, but they look amazing and run really well.
As for the tyres, from what I read, the common practise is to heat the tyres either through hair dryer/heat gun or in a hot water to allow the plastic to expand (drift tyres are all plastic of some kind or other).
If you had proportional throttle the drift would be easier to maintain.

Do yourself a favor. Look into the gptoys driftshark. All metal components. Great body, and cool quality reciever. Available on amazon for 60$ now…I consider it a real hobby grade set up. All proportional…💪💪💵💵🏁🏁

Id wager a guess that its closer too 20 – 25 km/h & with 2 batteries im guessing its 35 – 40 km/h
