IMEX SHOGUN NINJA DESTROYED!!!
So if you didn’t know i’m a big big rc fan, i love driving rc cars trucks. If you’re on the boats and the planes, you know what i’m saying so today, we’re gon na do a different type of video um i’m gon na be tearing down this 1 16 Scară. Imax shogun ninja that my lovely girlfriend got for me for christmas and uh. I destroyed it the first day. Deci, as you guys see here, the body is all mangled it’s all destroyed um and i had to go to the hobby shop and get a completely different body. The body that i’m gon na put on here is actually for the monster truck, which sits a little bit higher, so they suggest that i get some body post and i’m just gon na go ahead and put those body posts on and take the wing off, because I destroyed the wing as well. Take the wing off and uh do some quick little modifications and make it a little bit more appealing Music. So for those of you who really aren’t familiar with rc’s or whoever’s watching this – and you are familiar with rc’s, this is the brushed motor version of this car. It comes in a brushless motor version of this car, which you know. Obviously, if you know rc’s it’s a lot faster, i think about 10 miles per hour, faster straight out of the box before you do anything to it. So this is actually the brushed version um so which is cool because it’s still pretty fast.
On my first initial run, i think it clocked in at about maybe 19 almost 20 miles per hour, almost 20 on a full charge. Um, and i was straight out of the box, so charging it overnight and running it overnight at full speed. It definitely flies um. So yeah, like i said this – is the brushed version i’m going to upgrade to the brushless version later. I think the brushed motor goes for about 54 bucks and the servo for that brush motor goes for about, cred, 25 to 30. Sunt., not really too sure on the price, but uh yeah i’m gon na upgrade that soon and i’ll do a whole new video For that you guys watching me, tear it down and build it back up again for that Music, Muzica, uh Music. Deci, along with the wing and the body, i cracked, the bumper um and i bought another one, so i’m kind of trying to create something a little bit different uh. As you can see here, i’m working on putting both bumpers on both the front and the rear of the car, and i also bought another set of led lights that it actually came with if you purchase this it’ll come with uh led lights as a gift that You can just plug right into the servo and they’re really bright. They they’re just they’re straight leds for real. They. They look great at night great for some night driving um, but i tried to put both the bumpers on either side and light up both the front and the rear, which i ended up not going with at the end of the day because um you know it Just really didn’t look right, Um! You know i just changed it so yeah i’m trying to put the front bumper and the rear bumper on and Music.
So guys, a quick thing i’m about to do is add a little bit of color to it. Uh once i take these bumpers off i’m gon na go ahead and plasti dip them along with the wing. You know just to add, you know just some extra to it. You know the whole chassis is black. Um the wheels are black. It has a little orange trim around it um, you know the things that hold the wheel on are black. Everything is just black. You know what i’m saying and i’m just want to add a little bit of color to it, uh just to spice it up a little bit. Uh i’m, eventually probably dipped the whole body um just make that one one one color and just keep it like that for for a little bit but um yeah, deci Muzica, baby, Muzica, baby, Muzica, deci Muzica, Uh, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica, Muzica. So one thing that i had to do in order to get the truck body and the wing to fit on the on the chassis was go ahead and cut the truck body. These bodies are very thin and actually very flimsy. So if you need to make modifications like that, you know poke holes, cut a few parts off it’s really easy to do. You can use an exacto knife or you know some scissors or anything. You have sharp uh just to cut it up and make it look more appealing, so i just had to end up cutting off the back uh the whole rear end actually in order to fit the the wing and the truck body on there Music.
What we do here is: Music Music, big Music, Muzica, Muzica, laughs, Muzica, Um, Muzica, oh Music, Muzica, Um, Muzica, Muzica, Um, Muzica, ok, Muzica, Muzica, bye, Muzica, baby Music, Uh, Muzica, Muzica, foreign Music, so Music Music, hey guys back here again: Music rear bumper Music. So one thing that i do want to add is: if you get the brushed motor you won’t have a wheelie bar. If you get the brushless motor, you will have a wheelie bar and in order to incorporate this weight that you get with the ninja i had to cut off the trunk back had to do. You know a little bit of macgyver style and uh in order to get it to fit so we’re gon na get it to run um. Just to note, the brushless motor is about 10 miles per hour faster than the brush motor. So just keep that in mind when you’re purchasing so we’re gon na run Music.
