in drift car instead of a brushed engine if I choose brushless one is there any difference in the drifting performance but brushless cost me more

Before i ask this id like to note that i dont necessarily mind making some modifications,but what about the redcat shockwave?i want a nitro buggy and im really liking the shockwaves look.what can be done to make it drift well and how well can it drift out of the box?
