Unboxing Kyosho MP9 TKI4 | Break-In | Jumps | Examinare
I need to okay, show me the car. ok, what we got here, new hobby, get it out who won’t race the cars now rc cars, race, the real cars and race, rc autoturisme? ok, let me know how you get this thing out: jesus christ, ok, Music ow; here we go cool good, bye, Muzica; ah, hey Music, Um, Muzica, Muzica, huh, Oh, where is it Music wow? So we are leaving yeah there’s a broke already: the pinion burp off the motor at the clutch building. So i get new parts back to the drawing board. I have not checked the internet, but my assumption is that sales are almost non existent because everyone’s waiting to hear my review all right at the workstation working on the mp9, so the initial review for the mp9s that it handles really well. It needs a few tweaks and modifications out of the factory and my clutch bell broke so when you’re driving it as you saw in the videos, the shocks are a little bouncy. So what i did was lower these down to put more compression. Am. 80 weight oil on the way so that it will make it even more compression. You can see now it’s not as loose before, it’s really flimsy, so that will cause it to hit jumps unevenly and land unevenly and then spin out in the corners. So that’s one of the first mods i did was spin these down. You can put a mark on each of these, the aluminum and then this um spinning spinning thing right here: the bolt and that way you can track.
How many turns you have sent it. Um yep, the servos are good. The receiver went dead, the i used double a batteries, so it went dead after, like maybe an hour of running it. So it also flops around in here. I don’t like the weight movement, especially when driving. So i suggest putting something in here. I have that on the way, so maybe like some foam or something to prevent this from moving while you’re racing um, the motor is good. The pull starts still functional. It starts pretty fast, actually, no complaints there, the pipe gets hot. It melts the body, so you might want to trim your body what else? Nu, the clutch belt housing, as you see down here, completely shredded that gear. This is really bad, so we’re in the process of uh, taking the motor out right now and we went with proline uh 14 tooth uh, better one. You know the second time around and i bought an extra one just in case, so some of the overlooked things that people overlook when buying these things is tools. So i got this for 30, some bucks. It even comes with the main one, with the clickable, so it’s, faster and it’s also magnetic so i recommend getting investing in some tools like 100 Dolari, maybe for everything. ok, now that we have the motor out, you can see here the clutch bell. Housing is whoa completely shredded. I think that the main gear is fine, așa că eu sunt, not going to change that, dar da.
I would definitely recommend changing the clutch pro housing that’s, one of the mods um. Some other things to think about would be a starter box, because this is not going to last forever and it’s not really convenient. When the body is on honestly um that’s pretty much it so so far, so good and yep definitely a fun toy. Um invested some tires. I forgot about tires yeah these tires are pretty junky, so get some pro lines or some you know pre mounted tires. So you have to deal with gluing them and worrying about them being off balance and stuff, aşa, so i went with 20 fuel to break it in with which is pretty normal. I mean you could go up to 25 Sau 30. I believe, but kyosho would be the one to um. ştii, make sure that happens uh what else? Oh, the steering let’s go over the steering. Where is this? The controller is pretty good, Uh, no complaints once you turn it on. It gives you your basics, that you can scroll through. Uh let’s see what we got. I don’t want to do that oops. ok, obviously, i’m new to this i’m not really sure how to completely work it, but it has like throttle trim where you can trim it. When i first started it, i had to put the trim pretty high to get the motor to start over to turn over, but it’s good now, and also the steering trim mine pulled a little bit.
I believe left let’s see it pulled a little right out of the box, so i’ll adjust that. But besides that we’re good it’s uh, the battery is lasting a while and no issues when actually when i went to steering the steering, is really sensitive on this thing. Uh let’s get the controller out of the way turn it off. There you go there we go. The steering on this thing is really really sensitive tools everywhere. Super sensitive and i think that’s, because if you see the buggy, it comes toe out a lot. So you can see this one’s almost like points that’s, not square at all. It comes with a lot of toe out. I don’t know if you guys can capture that on video, so i would definitely think about adjusting the tie rods right here to tune out some of the toe out, because it’s really sensitive driving it so that’s pretty much it um. I love it so far. I can’t wait to get the clutch bill, housing in and i think that’ll be your friday and then we’re back on the track. It might race this weekend, first race, so stay tuned, bine baieti.
