AXIAL SCX24 1/24 RC ГРУЗОВИК ПОЛУЧАЕТ ОБНОВЛЕНИЯ

We have got the scx 24 on the bench and today we got some goodies for it as well to upgrade it. I ain’t even doing a running video of these guys, yet as it was stock standard, but in true rc workshop fashion, i just couldn’t sit on it so anyway, what we got is some carbon fiber chassis, oh who doesn’t like carbon fiber with some extra adjustment on There at the top as well, these are quite nice, got the cut out for the gearbox on the bottom cut out for the bumpers on the front as well that nice, nice nice. Then we got some brass knuckles for some white over that front as well. Steering knuckles there’s little brass collets that go in there as well, probably require a little bit of grease, so we’re going to drop them on there and then. Наконец, а также, for behind the wheels, we have got some nice little brass weights, these fit nice and snug. Behind the wheels got a little uh brass, hex built into them as well, and then we’ve got some weight to them compared to what’s behind the wheel right now, which is nothing so what we will do is i’ll attempt to try and swap out this chassis rail In one go, so what i’ll try and do is leave it all connected one side undo this side drop this one on, hopefully, which is the other way around – even drop this one on, hopefully like so to there and hopefully it’ll all hold together.

So i can switch out the other side probably be easier for me to take the wheels off anyway, because i’ve got to take them off to do the knuckles and the wheel weights i’m. Looking forward to dropping these bits on guys. Хорошо, i won’t bore you with undoing all the bolts and everything else i might undo all about. Show you whether we can get away with it. We’Re, just holding one side on there bolt all this one side on and come back to you then oh yeah it’s going to be nice. I don’t know the the main reason getting. These is not saying there’s a little bit more adjustment in there, but i just like the carbon fiber look of them as well. Them look really really nice on the truck. These are really going to be helpful. The wheel weights and the knuckles let’s get to it and drop these bad boys on so to make things even easier still as well. Just two screws takes the back of the shell off, which means the body shell can come off completely. Just drop the screws in the shell there for safe keeping it’s nice to know that the back of that shell has been lined with like a dark gray metallic. As well, but look how cute these little hooks are going, the little hexes hopefully can uh focus in on that come on little car and behind that little hex we’ve got bearings full bearings guys.

That is fantastic! Посмотрите! How tiny it is! Oh it’s, so cute and small anyway let’s drop that let’s get that chassis plate on. I want to see let’s go well, then guys. So that is all the screws. This piece of the ladder on the chassis. What you’ve got is 10 individual small screws. Every single one of them screws is the same apart from these two. These two here are what holds the links in these are longer than the other, the other 10. So just keep that in mind and then pull out like so and hopefully we can move this whole inc complete ladder without it falling apart. Да – and you know what that lad is quite heavy, because it’s a little steel ladder compared to the uh carbon fiber one as well. I just want to see if all the holes on both line up exactly the same and we got them there. We got them there, we got them there. Да, they do everything lines up. Oh hang on two: there yeah everything lines up as it shows that’s nice, while the camera’s still rolling let’s just see if we can possibly drop this on there. Like i say what you’ve got, is you you your bottom plate? There has got a little uh um the plate sits into the groove on the carbon fiber, hopefully, and there we go just like so that is lined up. Oh look at that right. What i’ll do is i’ll get all these screws back put back together and see if you can get this whole complete side on nice and don’t forget the only two long ones are.

What hold the links in in place between the the plate there and the bottom and the side let’s get this done right then. So one thing i did notice is on the rear. You’Ve got a shock on your rear shock. It is attached to this little piece of plastic here, like a shock mount that shock mount would normally attach itself to this little h, uh steel frame – well, not anymore, because you’ve got all these adjustment holes right here within the carbon fiber chassis. What also comes with it as well is: if you look in the little bottom of the bag, there you’ve got two little nuts, so the nut will go on the side of that there. You can adjust this absolutely anywhere you’d like then, within all these mounting points. Хм, but what i’m going to do at the minute is stick with pretty much where it is mounted stock at the minute until i’ve used it a bit more really yeah! О, are you ready? I like this a lot. You ready, honestly guys really nice easy fit as well the feet straight on boom. Oh look at that carbon fiber chassis. That looks really really good. Я, like all the adjustment that you got there on the rear shocks. I said, Я, a shame. You ain’t got much adjustment here on the front uh. I suppose you could easily put that on um. We should be drilling some holes in that because it’s a much wider chassis as you can see what are actually what i’ve got is two pieces i can put together here check that out so thickness wise it’s, probably the same thickness.

Let me have a look: давайте. Try and get that focused yeah. I think this raises the same thickness width and everything else is a lot thicker and, like i say, the fit is really really nice, Где, even when it goes into the bump, no move the way, even when it goes into the bumpers. Look at that that’s really. Nice again there’s a little groove, quite at the back for where the bumper is going and a groove cut out in the middle i’m really impressed guys. That looks absolutely fantastic. What i might do is treat the car to one side first than the other see what that looks like as well, so you should be able to see the difference in both oh yeah uh let’s get the knuckles on next. Looking forward to this one just open these up and have a closer look so like again in there, you get a little set of screws and a little set of brass collets that look like it enables it to steer. Oh look at them little machine brush. Look how small they are i’ll. Tell you what, Хотя, the way? О, the way a lot them are heavy for this little car, То есть, really gon na help that front down. Keep that front front end down what it might actually do is squash. The tires down. Uh they’ve got some weight to them, let’s swap them over let’s put one on i’ll. Let you know how easy it was and there we go.

We have got the right knuckle on right, then guys, so there is a way around for these as well as you can see on the back. There that’s not identical at the top and the bottom it’s been milled out more on one end than it has the other. Как вы можете видеть, there’s been more material milled out there than this on and the same with the plastic as well. It’S molded slightly differently. So make sure the match up and you put in the right one on the right side, like so i’m literally just gon na i’m. Sure pretty sure these brass weights, literally should just drop on straight away in video let’s have a look uh with the knuckles as well guys, just let you know oh they’re way nice and they look really shiny. Then let’s drop the brush weight and then give it a turn. Oh yeah wow. You can already feel the weight on that front end. That is awesome. Направо, let’s drop one on the back and there we go wow and there we go that’s. The modifications done on the bottom end. You can feel that weight low down that is really gon na help it crawl. What i might do guys is get this finished up, get everything on and then give a little test on the crawler track as a bit of bonus footage at the end just a little bit more, not giving away too much wow. That looks absolutely awesome.

Это! A shame that when you put a wheel on you’re gon na hide all that let’s have a look let’s place that wheel over the top. You might just see a bit of it coming through a tiny tiny bit. What about from the front? Oh yeah yeah! That is nice, i’m happy with that guys, Направо, let’s start on the other side: О, да, oh there you go. What do you think of that then guys i am over the moon with it. The carbon fiber chassis braces, look absolutely awesome. The brass wheel, weights as well, and them steering knuckles absolutely mint honestly as well, and the weight in this little thing, Хотя, is absolutely fantastic and it’s everywhere, where you want the weight, as well literally on the wheels oh nice and there, she is wheels on everything Else, i must admit, though guys so what you’ve got is not much room for the thread on the nut it’s needed to the end, which is just lucky enough, um as well being straight up as well. What i have done is took these extra long little screws out of those front steering knuckles these just about catch on the um. The drive shaft so i’ll put the other black ones in and they are fine with them ones, there’s plenty of thread and screw already on that right, let’s dash his shell on and stick it on the crawl. Конечно. Behind me, О, да. Right then, guys now, with the extra brass underneath let’s see what this little thing is capable of let’s say it was perfectly capable before, but it’s got to be good with that weight, underneath them wheels as well.

Нво, О, да, nice let’s go down the back Music and up this back ramp on the course and round to the side. This is really tight around this part and no normally, i fall off this because it’s so tight, but maybe with that extra weight on the wheels now oh we’ve got some stones up there moving Music. Careful! Oh look at that back. We are nice gently gently, she’s down nice. I normally fall off that part. Let’S go over this mini bridge in the middle to keep rolling on the video nice and the extra weight just really helps pulling wheels over everything as well. Music yeah boy put on some of them rocks on the way into the cave. Oh just saw a bit of carbon chassis, then that was nice Music come on. You know what i’m going to still try and get over it. Try and put the wheels on the brick and we got through nice Music heading through the cave let’s. Do the nice easy skyride as well guys look at that bouncing now, because the extra weight that is brilliant, i think the steering and everything’s still working well as it should. I might need to upgrade that servo a little bit now now there’s, an extra bit of weight on them front wheels both sides, i think so i think it’s time for a little powerful, subbox servo or something Music. Хороший, head back down that awkward part over the slate rocks and then somebody i forgot your name sorry, but you name this turtle hill there’s your chance as well guys anything that’s not named in this.

A lot need adding to the track, but you know uh, if you think of any good ideas what i should add to the trash, let me know, but i am happy with them a little upgrade guys like i say i think next thing really is a nice Stronger steering servo but overall i’m happy with the little upgrades that i’ve added to it.
