BEST Off Road RC Racing TRUCK for $100? – ZD Racing ROCKET DTK-16 – Desert Brushless Buggy Review!

What do i got in store for you today? I got another banggood special. Thank you banquet for sending us this truck to review, and this is the zd racing or zd racing. Однако, you want to call it depending on what territory you are in this world and in the states we call it zd racing and it’s. The 116th scale 4×4 desert truck brushless for about a hundred dollars. You get a whole package here, ready to run and yeah we’re gon na crack this open and take a look now i’ve been a little reserved of zd stuff over the past couple years. Uh i did have a not a great experience with the ziti pirates. 3. The monster truck, which was cloned by eachine eachine, made their version of the zd pirates 3 and right out the box. That thing started breaking uh just doing a couple: uh runs with it and the plastics were kind of breaking they weren’t as flexible. So zd has. I heard has been coming around. I do have their hoonigan clone knockoff ken block looking car coming my way this is, i guess, their answer to the arm of felony, so that’s coming be on the lookout for that and uh, but yeah the zd racing rocket. Dtk. 16 um ready to run four wheel drive. It is brushless, so it has a 2435 brushless motor uh 3300 kv in it. It’S got a two in one esc. Я думаю, что это, a 30 усилитель esc 2.

2 kg servo, our three wire servo, so that’s good uh. So but let’s crack this open and see what we got flip. It get my razor here crack this let’s see. So we got our instruction manual here. You go bx16. Mt16. Tx16. I guess these are kind of the clones similar in make and model. I did hear the differentials on these cars are not the greatest, so probably not wise to run it on 3s. Сооо, but they give you some 3m tape. Some sticky tape, double sided, uh your antenna and some zippy ties here. If you want some body clips, it looks like cd racing. This one actually has a wing so that’s interesting as opposed to the tire let’s check that out. The tire is usually on the back here, but this version i think, has the wing on it. So they changed that up it’s a newer version. It looks like your charger again good to get off with to start with, but if you want to get into this hobby and get real serious about it, i would get a a real hobby grade, lipo charger. So you just put the balance plug in here and i’m. Sure there’s a plug here is an american plug, so they do have that. I think the euro plugs in here too so here’s their controller. Now some of the zd racing’s had the dumbo rc controllers, which are actually excellent uh. But this looks like a i guess again: a decent controller let’s see how many batteries they take here.

Хорошо, not many. It looks like two double a batteries. Are you kidding wow that’s, pretty usually there at least four three or four, так что это круто? Хорошо? You know very plastic feeling i mean it’s the plastic wheel here, ничего особенного! So you got your speed switch and your steering trim. Да, i guess, if you’re just starting out, you want to slow down the car in the beginning, but uh we’ll keep this up full throttle i’m expecting this car to do about 20 25 миль в час. I know they’re saying something different on the box, but i don’t think we’re gon na get to this speed, but we’ll see you never know they always exaggerate that number but um and then tires come off. Хорошо, let’s check these out. We can open that up and here’s the car itself. I do like the body man i like the way. This thing looks, i got ta say check that out very very nice. Я, like the two little guys in here. Detail is pretty cool, so oil filled shocks. They feel a little like, not much oil in them they actually feel kind of empty to be honest, but we could always check those out so looks like we got in this some metal dog bones here right in here: Хорошо, Металла, dog, bones cups, diff cups, Посмотрите, Plastic but nice chassis here, tub chassis kind of so yeah, not too bad things. Look pretty beefy all right, not terrible, not a lot of metal but uh, yeah good to start off with hundred dollars, pretty cool and what i did like uh.

What i saw in reviews online was that this body flips over flips open rather just pop that very cool easy to work on how about that so here’s, your two in one esc, you got some dean’s connectors here. You do have a 2s lipo battery 1 500 milliamp that’s nice, but 15c discharge, not great. You know maybe down the line, get a better battery, maybe get something that’s 25c or 30c discharge rate here is your your brushless motor again, 2435 3300 kv it’s got an aluminum motor mount, so that’s good dissipate some heat. There got a cat pack right here: Хорошо, cool here’s, your servo. It is a three wire servo. So if you did want to change that, you can take that out, that’s very nice, так что да, pretty damn cool. I mean again hundred dollars out the box. Я, like the body a lot i like how that can slap right back down and very, very cute, very cool, so damn all right zd. I hope you keep stepping it up man, because you got a lot of product out there and let’s, hopefully see down the line i’m, hoping that hoonington car coming out that i spent over 600 on is gon na, be a good one, so uh but yeah. They have some inexpensive product out there perfect for a beginner, И, like you see here, this is actually pretty nice to work on. So why don’t we get the tires on this and check it out.

First off i got ta say i do like these tires. They feel like rubber, not plastic, slash rubber. These got a really great feel to me. I feel some foam in there. They almost have like a it’s like almost gooey, feel to it. If you want to call it that it’s almost like a you know, ah it’s just got a really good compound to it really really like that. I mean i would like to even use these on some other cars that i have so i am interested in uh. Really seeing how these perform so very, very good zd. Мне нравится. I like that a lot – and i do like they’re also given these nyloc nuts and they got the flange on the back and what’s nice is they got some ridges on the back. So this is a locking nut, so very, very cool. I don’t know if you can see that it’s blurry, but you get the idea so let’s put these Music on. Take a look at this guys. How cool is that little package? This thing looks: Замечательно, got a nice led light bar up here too can’t wait to turn that on i do wish. I had the tire in the back. I actually like the tire you know from the box uh but that’s. Хорошо. Maybe this will do better with some performance. I think this is an upgraded version compared to that one that’s on the box, so maybe we’ll get a little bit better speed out of it a little bit better handling, possibly to keep some uh.

You know down drift on it, so very, very cool the shocks actually pretty good. I squeak in a little bit like i said i still feel like they they’re, probably lacking some oil, but we could always fix that. But these tires are just awesome. The package itself is adorable, i love it and it’s the kind of car it feels nice and solid. The cage here is really nice, so this thing’s going to be able to to tumble even the way it leans here. The suspension is really cool. Мне нравится. So if you’re a beginner, this is going to be great to probably thrash around with you got a nice solid fixture here, nice solid body, nothing feels you know cheap cheap. This is a cheap car for a hundred bucks, but you know i think this is gon na, be a lot of fun now again with the dips. I hear they do uh, they might struggle a little bit, but we’ll see how many packs we can run through this car um you’re, most likely not going to want to do 3s just because i don’t think they’re going to be able to handle it um, but Uh, you know hey first, timer out the box got a controller. You got your charger. All you need is two double a batteries and you’re off to go so we’re, going to charge this up and take her for a run all right guys so before we do.

So there you have it guys. The zd racing rocket 1 16 Масштаб. Четыре колеса, диск пустыне багги, pretty damn cool for a hundred bucks. I think it performed pretty well, it probably goes about 20 миль в час. I would say: uh steering is not the greatest it’s, not so sharp um, but you know overall, pretty well balanced. It likes to tumble and likes to flip, but it could take a good beating. This car was pretty damn cool, for the price cannot go wrong.
