Обзор Redcat RC MT10E!
Хорошо, flip forward. This is uh i’m gon na flip backwards. This time this is a four wheel, drive brushless monster truck and, как вы можете видеть, it has a lot of power and it’s a lot of fun to drive very exciting. It accelerates very hard as a very small opinion gear. I think a nine tooth pinion gear. So acceleration and torque on this is just absolutely insane the top speed of it isn’t, particularly fast for a brushless car but um as long as you’re not doing top speed runs you’re not really going to be disappointed with the performance of this truck, even in an Empty parking lot like this uh one thing you are going to notice is: it does flip over a little bit. The center of gravity is kind of high. Despite the low slung look of it, i mean that’s kind of because all the battery is stuck up and the all the electronics are kind of mounted really high. But if you do drive it carefully, um it does handle really well, even in a small crowded area. Like this on my driveway, i have a couple: skateboard ramps set up there and i just had packs and packs of fun with this thing: Я, just even just driving it around my driveway and just jumping it on the small little skateboard ramp, but to really test The performance of this truck, i decided to take it to my rc track. Now you can see the rc track is completely covered in ice.
It was absolutely frozen, это, a very cold day here, probably around 18 Кому 20 Градусов, fahrenheit, so very, very cold. But you can see, even even though the track was absolutely covered in ice uh, the truck is performing really well it’s, getting up to almost top speed. It’S doing all the jumps really well. Um it’s handling the bumps really well, and the four wheel drive definitely helps. The stock tires are surprisingly grippy and really good. Even though the tread pattern is a little funny looking, it does grip really well and the suspension setup is so plush and really nicely set up. You can see it’s handling, all the jumps and bumps and all the all the stuff that even in this really subpar driving condition it’s performing really well. It almost performs um like it’s, trying to compete on the track, and this is not a performance truck. This is a a complete bastard truck for, like almost beginners into the brushless uh monster truck segment. So it’s really amazing that it’s so easy to drive and just handles really well, even in subpar conditions like this, but since it is a faster truck and at this price point um for a brushless vehicle, it is technically a entry level, brushless vehicle and everyone. Everyone wants to know with a lot of these entry level cars. How durable are these um now granted brushless? I wouldn’t really recommend as your first rc cars, but nevertheless you want to know how durable this thing is, and i got you covered right there, because, even though it was really really cold, i i absolutely punished this thing.
I was absolutely brutal to it. Um trying to get it to break um with it being so cold and being brushless. I was actually expecting this thing to absolutely shatter like glass. I actually wouldn’t have been. I wouldn’t have been surprised if i came home with it in multiple pieces like like each arm broken off and the entire body completely trashed, and i tried really really hard to break it and it was just not breaking and i was getting. It was just not breaking, but finally um. I did end up breaking apart and the servo saver has this like plastic part on it, and the plastic part on the servo saver did end up breaking eventually, and this is a part that did break multiple times. You’Ll see it breaking again later in the video, and that, Я думаю, is the only weak part on this truck um under like normal 2s driving. This is driving in a 50 200 миллиампер, 2s lipo, so that’s the only part. I would really really really be concerned about, unfortunately, there aren’t any other upgrade parts for that. So just have that part stocked um in your in your hobby room just in case you break it because if you’re rough on it you may break it. But despite that broken steering part, i continued my durability test. You can see i’m having a hard time lining up the jumps because it doesn’t steer anymore, but i was landing it like on the on the roof on the body really hard trying to get that body to completely shatter and unlike a lot of other redcat vehicles, Хм, the body is actually really good and it abso, even with all that punishment, not even like not even a chip in the body, so i decided to amp it up app up the durability test, um and just throw it off this driver’s stand and oh something Definitely broke there, so let’s see what broke so.
The stub axle actually snapped the metal stub axle snapped and the wheel broke on it. You can see the hex. There is broken. It does use a 14 millimeter hex by the way, but that’s a lot of punishment and i’m going to continue to punish it for the rest of this video um in extreme use and 3s use. I i would say the the stub axle is, is a point of weakness as well, but un under normal use in 2s use you’re not really going to have to worry about it, and you can see for the rest of this video. As i run it i’m. Pretty rough on this truck, i wasn’t nice to this truck at all and the whole time you have to keep in mind i’m driving it in winter in michigan and i’m driving. It usually like mostly on skate parks and stuff, so that’s really brutal condition to drive it and durability. Я, really impressed with the durability thing on this i’m, not even going to count the wheel braking because the wheels break in cold conditions all the time this provide. Despite the uh um brand or what car it is plastic wheels break all the time so i’m, not really gon na count that, but that stub axle and the servo saver part is um a point of weakness on this um the center. The spur gear is also full metal, but has no slipper clutch in it, so that’s something else you’re going to be wanting to keep an eye on if you’re running on 3s and doing crazy jumps and stuff with it.
You may have issues breaking that center. Uh drive cup there’s a center def set available. If you are interested um in doing that, but overall i would keep it away from 3s power unless you’re doing speed runs and driving and mostly the flat areas. I wouldn’t do crazy jumps with it. You can see 2s has plenty of power to go around without absolutely obliterating the truck so that’s my recommendation as far as battery goes, and you can see, i i’ve been driving it mostly on skate parks. This thing is an absolute hero on skate parks. It just jumps really smoothly i’m, really like i’m, amazingly graceful in the air, really easy to um Applause control in the air. I do back flip up off of walls and it’s. Just been amazing. Um i’ll just actually shut up for a second watch and let you watch this transition right here. Just amazing transitions on that skate, skate park, bull and ramps and stuff just amazing um. So you have you would notice other than that track driving. I haven’t done a lot of off road driving with this, and i will be doing a video on driving it in like dirt and stuff in the summer when the weather is a bit nicer, but for now this is this, i think portrays its performance pretty well. Um so far, so look out for that video in the future. If you want to see how this thing performs in the dirt but uh and as for upgrades and parts parts are readily available, um for this um redcat customer service is also really really great.
So if you have any problems with it, they will they will send you parts out right away if you warranty it so that’s that’s really good. There are also a lot of upgrade parts available for this from redcat uh. They are a little bit pricey, но гм. They they are worth looking into, they have like sway bars, they have different tires center, diff, some metal, skid plates and stuff like that. So those are things you can. You can check out if you want um right here. I did break that servo saver part again and unfortunately, like i mentioned there’s no upgrade for that. I wish they had it as aluminum, but they do not so just stock up on that stock part. These tend to go out of stock, sometimes so just make sure you have some of those handy also, if you want to know how this thing compares with the arma granite, 4×4 brushless and the stampede 4×4 and the traxxas haas and stuff, like that, i can’t comment On that, because i don’t have any personal experience with those trucks, but i will say this truck performs uh from what i’ve seen anyway performs just as well, if not better than than those trucks, and it is cheaper than all of those trucks. The armor granite is pretty similar in price that it’s significantly cheaper than any of the traxxas trucks, but um it’s plenty, durable, plenty, fun and just an amazing truck to drive.
So i definitely recommend this truck and if you want this truck, i do have an affiliate link for it in the description, so you can check that out. If you want an in depth look of the chassis and just what what it comes with in the box, you can check out that video on the top and for other mt 10e videos. You can check out that video at the bottom and as always, i thank you guys so much for watching um subscribe comment down below.
