ha ha, cars are easy eh? I challenge you to keep mine in a straight line!
its a 1/4 scale diy build using 50cc mini quad bike which was converted to rc and the fame chopped and welded for a lower profile once the person carrying bits were removed and it only weighs around 25kg with a 50cc engine driving a solid rear axle and to say its tail happy is an understatement! its actually so dam hard to keep in a straight line (even using a heli gyro) that i hardly ever touch it and its sat in my shed for almost 2 years :/
If you are thinking of cars ( trucks ? ), but don't fancy outdoors, why not try the Axial SCX24 line of crawlers ? Very popular here already in North America ; relatively inexpensive, and you can set up an indoor crawler course in minutes, with almost anything !! I'm all about quads, but I've also really enjoyed these little trucks. RC fun is everywhere, and weather is a factor here in Canada, for sure !!

For FPV I usually rather have a crawler, but this one seems to ride pretty smoothly!

I thought, "Ah, yes, I'll have one of those". I click on the affiliate link and ny browser won't connect because it thinks it's dangerous. OK, go to their website and register an account. Then we find 'standard shipping' not available. 'Duty free shipping' not available. Only 'Expedited shipping' is available, for which they want £25. Probably still a bargain but not what they told you.

I conformal coated EVERYTHING electronic on my 4wd rc truck. Including the FPV gear (camera in the driver's seat, oh yeah!). I have a 6 LED light bar on it and I had so much fun last winter, braving the winter storms at night and exploring around in the dark. Oh yeah, and everyone can get into it since it's just like real driving. Edit: What's with the molded rear-facing seat on the body? Sounds like a horrible way to ride in an off-road vehicle in real life
I think for a bit more money, the wltoys 12428 is a better value, getting morr bang for the buck. Can be upgraded to a hobby grade no issues.. But also can be a good toy for kids.. Ive added fpv to mine
I like a bit of rc car now and then for a change from flying stuff, usually during winter when it's a bit rubbish outside.
Moderate speed contributes to longevity. I like it.
