Welcome back to the channel adam from rc action, australia, new segment on the channel, the unboxing lounge we’re, upstairs we’re inside, where i keep some of my newer box, kits that i purchase along the way. So why not bring you guys into this space? And every now and then i’ll pick a new new inbox kit. As you can see, we’ve got lots beside me here, plus many more on the other side of the room, so let’s get on with it. Let’S pick one of these fantastic rc kits that have risen. Okay, so we’ve cracked, the lid and let’s have a good look and see what is inside the box, as you can see, it’s all packed in there quite nicely as per you, would expect from the basic tamiya kits and, as you can see on the top here, I’Ve got a lot of those upgrade parts that i was talking about, so let’s pull some things out and have a look. So i’ve got these 50 mil um yeah racing shocks, um oil, shocks, aluminium, sort of cases, and i do actually quite like these shocks and i have run them on a few other cars i’ll do a few full review of these um once i build them and Let you know what i think of them, but they’re definitely a good alternative to the definitely to the factory. Friction shocks they’re around about 37 australian dollars and for the money you really can’t complain.
They come with oil and they come with multiple different rebound options as well, so i think they’re a good option versus paying hundreds of dollars for some other shocks. So i can’t complain about those up next um, i thought i’d get a metal motor. Mount i’ve never had one of these in any of the tt01 that i’ve built in the past. So i thought that was pretty cheap and i picked that up off the same seller as the shocks. So i thought why not see i’ve got that fantastic discount on the kit. I got a set of tuned gear, sets off the same cellar as well, so um be interesting to have a a good um play around with some different gear ratios to get a little bit more out of this kit, rather than just throwing more motor at it. I guess, and the one thing that i recommend for any rc kit is bearings um. These are around about 15. Again, i thought it was off the same cellar that i bought all the other parts off, definitely worth it, and i think it’s definitely worth to get yourself a set of bearings when you be when you’re building a kit purely because you don’t have to pull it Apart to add bearings, so, as you can see, we’ve now just got the actual kit contents to go through um up. First, we will bring out um. This is the lower section of the body.
Obviously, now i’ll do a full montage of this spread out nicer. So you can see it at the end of the video here, but um i’ll just pull things out of the box to show you. So obviously this is our um, our body um, nice sort of truck bed here. Obviously, the cab will go on the front section here, but you can already see that this. This is the reason i really bought. This kit was because the detail and the um pretty cool, um paint, work and whatnot. You can do on the back section of the bed here. Obviously you can see this is um, some quite intricate decal for the motor and some of the suspension and chassis parts on the back of the bed here so that’s going to look fantastic um. You know once i finish painting it, so you know i’m, really looking forward to actually spending a lot of time. Painting this one. So obviously plenty of plastic parts, trees um. You know, as i said, it’s just basic tt01e stuff, so nothing special we’ve got our um tble o2, a speedo again, nothing special there, but um still a great uh speed, controller and i’ve been running these on lipo batteries for years and never had a problem. You just need a a lipo alarm just to let you know. Um we’ve got all of our uh, probably gears screws, um and whatnot in here, and obviously that talk tune motor that the kit comes with so um yeah, nothing special in there and, as i said, all plastic bearings, so it’s really really good.
That i’ve bought those ball. Bearing upgrades now let’s tip this out and see what’s in here. Okay, so we’ll go a bit backwards. What’S on the bottom, we’ve got a um, obviously the some specific instructions for the truck body itself. Then we’re going to have a um. Just the basic tt01e manual, so obviously the only difference with this will be probably post positioning for the body and some specific um parts that’s. Obviously, in the that other manual that i just showed you we’ve got um more bits of paper. We’Ve got all the decals there so, as you can see, um plenty of decals to go on and some window masks there, which is great um. Obviously, we’ve got our main lower chassis and they’re. The um tyres there. Now, as you can see, these rims are quite small um, but the actual sidewall of the tyre is a lot higher again it’s it’s, really giving that realism um to the actual truck. Look that it actually is now we’ve got a whole heap of um, just plastic parts like all your drive, shafts and whatnot. There now i’m, pretty sure i’ve got a aluminium center drive shaft for a tt01 somewhere in my parts bin. So i’ll probably add that during the build as well so that’s, probably another good upgrade to do um again, we’ve got a nice large front, uh foam bumper plenty, more parts, trees there and again a lot more dropping everything.
A lot more um plastic parts there as well, and then we’ve got this beautiful um, the the rest of the truck body there, as you can see so. This half here is the front cab and this obviously looks like some of the back section of the cab that will go on to it. So that’s everything um out of the box, let’s flip to a little um sort of montage of this all laid out. So you can see it nicer and then i’ll come up and wrap it Music up Music, so Music, so Music, foreign, okay. So thanks for watching today’s, video of the tt01e truck and as i said, something different for the channel guys, let me know what you think down below and yeah, as you can see, lots of other cool cars. We’Ve got some vintage, coyote show and obviously some other tamiya kits to come in this unboxing lounge segment.
