So what I can do, I can press the lock button and then I can do that twice and it starts up. Everything works great now. A lot of questions that well, the same question you may have had is the same question. I had watch what happens when I go to get in the vehicle, so it turns off. So the question is: should it do that and how do I do away with it? Well, I did a lot of research online because I was confused. I mean why I’ve got this key in my pocket when I walk up to this particular car and I get in without it running it. Lets me in I don’t have to do the little flicker thing, but if I do the remote start and then I go to the vehicle to get in, it turns off and open the door now. Unfortunately, what I found out is that that’s by design and the logic behind it is that say I started my car from inside of my house or whatever, and then I go outside or if I don’t go outside in time. Somebody hops in my car and steals my car, but what I don’t understand the person still in my car, probably wouldn’t, have one of my keys. So why couldn’t they fix this to where, when I walk out to my car that I remotely started so it would warm up and be ready to get in on a cold day.
Why wouldn’t? It know that hey I’ve got a key, so I don’t have to turn the engine off it’s a minor complaint. But if you had the same question, this is what I found, and I hope this video is a value, be sure to check out my other Volkswagen videos on my channel too got a lot of tutorials, as I discover problems and positive thanks for that matter.
