These buttons send MediaButton key-codes. What happens in the applications depends on which codes the developers mapped to the functions.
Even I have one of these. It worked at first at my Huawei phone and now it doesn't work anymore. I've been trying to connect it threw bluetooth to input device and that is the thing that doesn't work. It is the input device needed to connect at bluetooth?

Great video BUT, now since I got my PIE update, it no longer works! There is an new app in the play store called "AB Launcher" which allows you to assign a button to a particular function on your android, but by default it always opens the folder "/storage/emulated/0" and there is no camera button there that I can find.
Anyone have any solutions to this?
