Behind me, are a bunch of parts i’ve been collecting for another. No prep drag car build here on the channel. I have almost everything i need and then last week i saw on proline’s instagram page they have some new bodies coming out and they hinted at a tough color, gray, malibu body. I thought it’d be perfect for my project, so i gave them a call to see if i could get an early release of one and they sent over all three of their new tough color bodies. So i thought we’d take a closer look at them and here they are the first three bodies that will be available in the tough color stone gray. So over here is the c10, our 50s truck body and then the malibu now what’s really cool about the tough color bodies. Is you don’t have to paint them? All you have to do, is cut them out. Add the decals and mount them to your particular rc truck now the c10 over here. This fits ace tracks, the stampede 4×4 really well. This one does as well the 1950s truck body here. It also fits the granite from what it says on the proline website and then the malibu body is for your narrow, no prep, drag cars and, 答案是肯定的, that’s what i’m building uh. You know if you have a wide slash, 它, not going to fit that. But this will also fit your your dr 10. Your lossy 22s drag car when that comes out pretty soon uh but, like i said you just have to cut these out and add the decals let’s.
Just give you a close up. Look at the decals here. They’Re pretty much like the decals that come with the clear bodies, but of course you’ve got the your windshield graphics now, so you don’t have gray windows on your truck it’ll make it look a lot better, but again you got to cut these out. Let’S check out the malibu decals over here, large windshields uh, even some racing stripes and there’s, your taillights and headlights really good looking decal sheets and they stick pretty well. I would suggest just adding a little bit of heat to them once you apply the decals to your bodies, i always like to take a hair, dryer heat them up a little bit and push them down, and that will really help the decal adhere to the body. Now these do have clear plastic on them as well. So once i pull this off, the bodies will be shiny and for some people uh, you know they. They won’t mind it being shiny. There are some real cars out there that come in stone gray. That look really good shiny, but you could always go and put a dull coat on them if you want to all right i’m going to mount up one of these bodies just so, you can check it out on the truck. 答案是肯定的, you have to follow the channel if you want to see the trad car built Music bye, Music do Music Music Music, so i spent about 30 minutes over at the workbench cutting out this body, applying the decals and mounting it up to my armor granite And i got to tell you, it looks awesome and the best part is.
I didn’t have to paint it if you don’t, like painting bodies, these tough color bodies are for you now you can pick these up at your local hobby.
