Here again, i want to do a little rc car update uh, because i got some parts in um for the vehicles uh, so the rc10 um my shocks came in. I got these yeah racing. 呃. 60. Millimeter uh dampers, so that will go with the factory works uh system for the that basically turns your rc 10 into like an oval car, so hoping that it’ll stay more flat and not wheelie as much be a little more controllable. So once you’re doing like 60 miles an hour in an rc10 and you make any turn any correction at all – the the chassis wants to roll and slide all over the place so uh. So i picked those up um. My gps came in so on board gps for the car, so nobody has to stand in front of this thing when it’s going all out uh. This is the sky, 钢筋混凝土, gnss uh, global navigation satellite system. So a little thing, uh i’m, 不确定. If it’s going to fit under the cowling here, depending on how thick the battery is, if it doesn’t fit under here, 它, probably going to have to get strapped to the back i’d, prefer not to strap it. To the back, i mean there’s a place to zip tie it there, 但嗯, because i don’t want to add any weight to the back and make the thing on a wheelie. 所以无论如何, that’s pretty cool um. I just wanted a more precise way to show the uh the speed, also the mini cooper.

I was looking for another one of these because i built this thing up and i painted it really well, and i did the white top and the classic british racing green and everything uh they don’t make this car anymore. Uh tamaya is like uh it’s, almost like the disney vault or something with these cars so uh. So the parts the parts went goofy and i’m missing a part price wise. You know i’m missing one of these little. These little battery hooks uh off this side, and i remember why i’m missing that it’s, because i stepped on it one time and like a lego that thing just it’s got two it’s got a little hook on it. I think jammed up into the middle of my foot and i probably uh yelled a few uh a few uh carefully chosen. Words are not so carefully chosen, and then i threw the thing in the trash so and i remember doing it going. Oh i’m, probably gon na need that and i’m like screw this thing, and i throw it out so uh, so i needed that part. 嗯. That part comes on this whole chassis kit, which has the suspension parts on it and all the black plastic pieces on the car, the bumpers and everything – and i was like oh good i’ll – get all the new i’ll get all the new pieces because i drove this Thing like twice one time on carpet and one time on concrete it’s got a little scratches, so this isn’t the car that i actually wanted to drive it’s a car that i wanted to just detail out, make it pristine and put it on the shelf right.

So i did the full ball bearings in it. I did the sway bar kit, so it’s supposed to handle a little bit better and it’s so small. I doubt the sway bar even makes much of a difference, but i got the sway bars front and back i got full ball. Bearings it’s got the ball differential in it and because it comes with a planetary gear differential. I also got the slick front tires to get a little more traction because it’s, a front wheel, drive car um, so it’s pretty cool um, but i did not get the shocks. The shocks are like you, can’t get these things new anymore, they’re uh, like i think one place had him in australia and he wanted. You know it’s, like by the time you get to the us you’re like 70 80 for just to change the springiness of the car that’s going to sit on your shelf, so yeah racing had some. I measured these. They were 50 millimeter. 我相信 55 他们是, 55. Millimeter, so these ones look like the factory tamaya ones, with the blue, uh anodized aluminum on them. Uh i’m gon na throw those on here to make this thing fully hopped up, then i got uh overnight parts from japan, uh the japan post. So that is a quick release: battery uh battery clip, so that was actually uh that’s the tamaya hop up option for a quick release battery, so you can like just pop it open throw a battery in you.

Don’T have to pull a little clip. I don’t know how much faster it’s actually gon na be, but as long as i’m replacing it uh, the it’s got a little carbon on it too. The little quick release was actually cheaper than doing a whole new uh parts tree. For that part that’s on the car, so anyway that’s the uh that’s the update for now um, i never even you know i get more enjoyment out of building cars than i do, driving them, which is funny. I mean this car’s got not probably not even an hour of use on it, but i’ve probably spent 30 hours work on it. This car’s got probably less than that. Probably five five ten minutes max of use on it, 但嗯, but i detailed it out real nice anyway uh these bodies they want they want, 喜欢 100 plus for a clear body on on ebay.
