终极便宜 & 耐用 1/16 特鲁吉由 Ftx?

现在, if you are a regular subscriber to the channel, you will know how much i love cheap and budget rc’s. They are a great way for someone to get into the rc hobby or just to test it out to see whether or not they like it before they go out and spend hundreds of pounds or hundreds of dollars on a really expensive model. Models like this are the ideal thing to actually get people started, so this model costs about 54 磅. I think that’s about 74 in the us now that isn’t a huge amount of money and when it comes to what this thing actually offers you and the fact that you can actually upgrade this as well. They do sell upgradable parts it’s an absolute still. 所以, as usual, the first thing we will do is get this unpacked we’ll take a look at what you actually get included in the box, followed by a closer look at the truggy and then we’ll take it out and give it a little test now before we Actually go ahead and do that if you haven’t already be sure to hit that subscribe button to stay up to date with all the latest rc content, we’re also really close to 5 000 subscribers and we’re also really close to the one year anniversary of beyond rc. So hit that subscribe button, guys right, let’s get this unpacked and take a look at what we get in the box right and so let’s take a quick look at what we actually get included in the box with this ftx tracer.

现在. The first thing we get is some spare body clips always nice to have a few of these around, because you do end up losing these. They are quite small. We’Ve got a half used sticker sheet there that’s, because i have already applied these stickers to the body. Shell now this does come with a fairly small 800 milliamp lithium ion battery this isn’t a lipo. This is a lithium ion usb charger, pretty much your standard sort of usb charger. You charge the battery through the balance port, pretty much standard stuff that you see on these cheap rc’s now ftx have actually included a set of led lights, and i believe these are for the front bumper now. I do also believe they do the uh. They do actually sell the monster truck as well, and i have a feeling that these are actually pre fitted on the monster truck, but not on the actual triggy, so it’s nice that they’ve actually included those. If you do want to fit those in, we also get a black and white manual again pretty much standard stuff. It just covers how to set your transmitter up your trims uh. 实际上, as i was saying about the headlights, there is actually a section in the manual which covers how to actually install the headlights, which is a very nice little addition uh installing the rear wing. I have already done that as well, and that is just two screws. Just on the rear wing mount really really easy to do, and they do actually include a screwdriver as well, which is an again another nice little addition so, 就像我说的, uh transmitter operation running your car, just giving you the very basics of what you should be Doing you can this does come with a throttle, speed switch, so you can actually turn it up and down and a few maintenance items that may be required, apart from that, a very brief and basic user manual and is in black and white, but absolutely nothing wrong With that, taking a look at the transmitter now, i have actually seen this before on another model that i do actually own and another model.

I did review on the channel, but we’ll come to that in a moment. Uh pretty much standard stuff you’ve got your steering, trim uh your uh speed switch, so you can turn the throttle up and down, depending on how confident you are and uh just does have a very cheap feel to it. I’Ve got to be honest in that respect. This does feel very, very cheap and i’m pretty sure. I said exactly the same thing when i reviewed the other model as well now from what i can remember, if i can actually get this get this apart. Yet this does take only two double a batteries which does keep the overall weight of the transmitter down. Only two are required on this transmitter, 所以整体, a nice selection of stuff that you actually get included in the box everything’s there to actually get you up and running your battery charger and just two double a batteries for the transmitter right then. So you did hear me mention that i’d seen the transmitter before, and that is because it’s exactly the same as the one that you get with the high boxing models. Now this is my 16889 here i’ve had this thing quite a while, 正如你所看到的, it has been used and abused, but i don’t think it is only the transmitter that it actually shares with the the ftx tracer. This thing looks pretty much identical the body layout, the internal components. Everything is exactly the same now.

My thinking is ftx have obviously taken this design and rebranded it and made it their own. Now that isn’t an issue because parts for this can sometimes be a little bit hard to get hold of, or they have to be ordered in from china. 所以, especially here in the uk having a model that uses exactly the same parts, if you do own a 16889, this thing is ideal and buying the ftx parts will hopefully be an exact match for the high boxing stuff. So that is pretty much all you get in the box now. 我是. Pretty sure you’re here to actually see what the truggy looks like so let’s take the body. Show off let’s have a look at this in a little bit more detail and then we’ll finally get it out we’ll, give it a little bash and see how it actually performs right, then so let’s take a closer look at the truggy itself. Now this is 1 16th 刻度. It does feature fully proportional, steering and throttle as well usual sort of stuff. This does have a three in one unit with the esc, i believe it’s also a ‘0 sized brush motor there with a heatsink the servo on this. I believe is a one kilogram servo and you do get a servo saver as well. The battery we already looked at earlier on it’s an 800 milliamp lithium ion now when it comes to the shocks. These things are friction friction shocks on this.

So this this is a little bit bouncy, which again was one of my complaints with the uh with the high boxing one six, eight eight nine. Now that is easily solved with a set of oil field shocks and they do sell those they are readily available, and that is potentially going to be one of your first upgrades. If you do buy one of these, 正如你所看到的, it does bottom out quite easily, because the friction shocks are pretty rubbish to be fair uh but yeah. 整体, this thing: do you know what it actually feels really good when it comes to the tires, they are quite squishy. They do feel quite soft as well, and i can see those being quite grippy um. This has got plastic drive, shafts and again they do. They do sell the metal upgrades if you do want to actually spend a little bit of money on this and upgrade it they do sell the metal drive shafts for you to upgrade yeah, really really nice. 现在, if you decide, you want to run the led lights on this, that is absolutely fine. There is a cut out there and there’s, also one on the opposite side of the bumper. You literally just push the leds in you run the cable to the efc you plug it into the efc down there. Next to the five wire servo lead, and you will have your front leds working, so you have got your on and off switch on the side.

那里, when it comes to the rear wing, this is secured by two screws. Now i did pre fit this before doing this, video very, very easy, two screws, and that goes on absolutely fine, no issues at all. Now you can’t actually see them, but this does actually come with ball bearings all round as well, which again something of this price point excellent little feature so overall, look and feel i’m struggling to find anything that really stands out that i don’t like about this. Just like with the 16889, i really did struggle to find things that i didn’t like apart from the friction, shocks and obviously the use of the five wire servo making brushless conversions that little bit more, not difficult, just a little bit more long winded, if you will, Apart from that, i really can’t find any major issues with this now i think there’s only one thing left to do with this, and that is to actually head out and find out just how this really cheap, triggy actually performs. This is where i’m going to test out the ftx tracer now i’m, not going to go easy on this thing, and i know the uh, the hbx16889 or the high boxing is really really durable. I actually give it to my two year old and he has yet to actually break it.

所以, 我, really looking forward to actually testing this little thing out today, i’m going to put it for its paces and hopefully it can withstand everything i throw at it and for the price it’s, hopefully be a really good, cheap, little bastion, 钢筋混凝土, 音乐掌声, 掌声, 音乐, 音乐, so so Applause Applause, so there we go then so i did have a huge amount of fun today, with this little ftx tracer. It does remind me a lot of the uh, the high boxing one, 六, eight, eight nine. It does also feel a lot like the one six, eight eight nine to actually drive now. That would obviously make sense, because this is pretty much a copy or it’s. You know it’s pretty much exactly the same chassis layout and everything else to the 16889, which is why it would actually make sense that this thing does behave and feel exactly like it. 现在. I actually prefer the styling on this one. I do prefer the the look of this one compared to the the high boxing counterpart, but obviously you know it is good to know that the parts will be interchangeable and readily available if you are here in the uk. So if you are looking for a really cheap, reliable, 耐用, uh rc, that is good for bashing uh good to take to skate parks it’s going to absorb you know a really good impact, you’re not going to be breaking too many parts. This is definitely a worthy contender because uh this is one of the very few rc’s out there that can really take a battering, especially for something in that sort of price range.

I really don’t think there’s a lot lot else that can actually compare, especially when it comes to looks as well. This thing looks fantastic, 它, also fairly quick as well it’s, not the quickest thing in the world, but it’s definitely enough to keep someone satisfied, especially a beginner in the rc hobby. You would definitely be satisfied with what this little thing can provide, so guys we’re going to leave the video there today.
