ZD RACING Pirates 3 TC-10 Brushless RC Car Review

嗯, 正如你在这里看到的, i’ve got the pirates 3 tc 10 lambo from zd racing. This is going to be my first run with this guys and it’s on the standard 2s that comes with it. 好, so there’s a hard pack 2s. This is their standard, 2400 毫安小时, 7.4 volt lipo, but in the specs it does say this one can take a three or so i’ll test that in another video guys, i’ll be doing. A couple of speed runs on this one, including today, first off what i’m going to do today is um. Do a speed run while we’ve got a fresh lipo, it is at 99 或 100 charge and uh, then we’ll take it for a bit of a spin. Just on this tarmac guys, you know my favorite road here so there’s, not much else you can do. It is a street car so that you know this video will be pretty short i’ll try to make it pretty short anyway, 嗯, you know it’s not like. We can bash this around. This is made for on road running or even on road speed, running all right guys, so let’s power it up. I’Ve got my gsm bluetooth reader. In there okay, it’s already powered on. I should have put the dumbbell rc controller on first, but that doesn’t matter – and this will be my first drive of this uh of this car – guys so um all i did uh after my unboxing overviews, just tested it out in the yard.

嗯. You know on the storage rate, and that was it that was a couple of weeks ago. So if you want to see a fully detailed, unboxing and overview stick around to the end of this video guys and uh i’ll leave it on the outro portion of this video. My other video there of the overview so um, so it looks like we’ve got some sufficient satellites here. 我们有 12, so i’m gon na just zero that out just there we’ll go back track, start and we’ll see sort of speeds we can get out of this. On the fresh uh lipo now let me just check that it is trimmed up pretty good, 所以是的, first time running it properly guys. Now this is rated on the specs as a 60 kilometer in our car, okay online, whether they mean 60 kilometers an hour on the 2s lipo or 3s we’ll, soon find out let’s get some good speed to it, though it is very low to the ground that Body, 壳, there was a couple of scrapes there, 正如你所看到的, i mean i’m, not pushing it to its full range, but that’s some pretty good range. There we’ve got fresh batteries in this uh zd racing, dumbo style controller, so on the stock lipo seems pretty decent let’s bring it back here. I’Ll check my phone, the radio down for a minute; 好, so we’ll. Stop that read 50 kilometers an hour guys on the standard 2s, so that’s pretty decent there.

希望, you can see that that’s, not bad i’ll. Put that up in miles per hour, 人. 好, just put that down now so 50 kilometers an hour on the 25 c discharge: 2400 呃, 2s lipo, not bad out the box so i’m. Guessing that 60 kilometer hour claim is probably on a 3s which is typical from most of these chinese companies but yeah. She handles really well guys with these road tires because close to the ground, what a great little ah, it seems to be a bump in the road there. So i’ll try to stay away from there bottoming out the body very responsive, good breaks, too let’s uh yeah, very lively car it’s got some good torque out of that 3650 3000 kv 电机, so grippy street tyres on this one looks like i have chipped the front Of the body work there, unfortunately, just here yeah there’s a bit of a chunk there, oh well, you get that it is rather low to the ground. You can raise it up a fraction, though with the adjustable body post but yeah guys. 我是说这个. One will make a good base for a um speed runner because that’s exactly what i’m going to do with this one i’m going to mod it up. Do some speed runs with it. This does only have a 45 安培埃斯, so the next step for me would be to remove that esc and bump it up to a 60 and then a 120.

I just like to progress step by step, just to see the difference in what speeds you can get with different esc, so that will be coming up soon later on guys for sure, and i might experiment with different motors as well: there’s a reverse gear, pretty slow, 是的, nice car – i mean you could even leave it like this. If this is uh, you know fast enough for you not a problem. It’S not slow by any means i’m trying to do donuts here and it’s, just gripping guys very hard to do. Donuts. Look at that and um this battery should give you about 20 minutes of run time that they’re, stating on the specs guys so long run time depend how you drive it of course, there’s a bit of a dip in the road there, 那是, where it was bottoming Out just there yeah very good gripping tyres. This street radials takes a fair bit to flick it around the first impressions of this one, i’m really liking it. 50 k’s an hour got good torque, though let’s bring it back here. Don’T make this video too long. Let’S go to a standing start and you see i’ll just punch. It she’s got some really good torque there guys she launches really good like a rocket okay, 人. 嗯, 你知道的, apart from just running around in circles, there’s not really much. I can do with this. You know i’ve done a speed test there to show you. The speed of the stock lipo, which is pretty impressive. 50K is pretty good out the box and uh, no doubt with a 3s you’re, probably going to get that 60 mark quite easily bumping it up to 11.1 伏. 现在, 就像我之前说的, the esc running on this is pretty typical of zd racing. Sometimes you know they, you know packaged their vehicles, mainly the 1 8 i’ve noticed with a 80 amp or 100 amp esc this one being a 110 vehicle um in scale. They do usually well the zd uh zmt 10 thunder truck did come with a 45 amp esc as well, but they are 3s compatible and let’s. Just uh. Take this off. I’Ll just show you underneath they do. Look like those surpass hobby esc’s. 好, as you can see there, so um yeah, 正如你所看到的, i’ve got the gps unit there and uh done rather well. These tyres grip really well guys, really really impressed with them. I thought it would drift around a lot more, but it doesn’t it just as you can see, i couldn’t even do donuts with it.

They are pretty deceiving looking tires. I mean they’ve got a small tread pattern, but they do grip really well, they are foam filled and what i love most about this car is that it’s cnc machined guys i mean look at it. It’S all metal parts throughout all mill components: 狗骨头. You know standoff center bracing everything there’s a lot of metal parts here, and this chassis is just beautiful, so um as you can see it didn’t bottom out there. Just the shell got a bit of a chip in it. 不幸, but no big deal um. The motor is warm to touch but it’s, not hot okay, and i was given that full throttle throughout this whole running uh, 视频, so um anyway, guys hope you enjoyed this video.
